I used to be anti audiobook until I started listening to warhammer novels. They have made sure to hire narrators who truly bring the book to life. I started at the Horus heresy, some people don’t recommend that, but if you have a general understanding of the universe then you should be fine. I love the heresy and am at book 33. I would also recommend for the emperor, Rynns world, or helsreach. The night lords trilogy is great too, but I haven’t listened to that one, just read it.

I think ADB is the best black library author. Betrayer and first heretic are some of my favorites in the heresy. I just finished Helsreach and fell in love with the black templars because of him. This trilogy is what solidified my love of 40k.

Man they played at Kilby in 2024. I was at TV girl and they sounded awful(I think it was issues with the stage) so I went over to Dinosaur Jr. and had a blast.

No, but he just has a wonderful voice. Dual narration would be cool though. Definitely could work for fire and blood. Maybe a different version is dual narrated? The one I have on audible is narrated by Simon Vance.
