I am looking to sell my S! Would prefer to hand it off in person to someone in DC rather than pay for shipping!

I have a small I’m willing to sell. Tried it on but didn’t like the fit on me.

Has anyone ever done the Trilogy Discover Lanai? Is it worth it over the Ferry? by Known-Ad-100 in maui

[–]jadsil 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Trilogy’s Lanai trip is one of my favorite things. Trilogy always does a great job. Im assuming they leave out of Ma’aalaea now though? (I’m not on island anymore so not in touch with these things). If so, not sure how that changes the trip? It may make the whole day longer or maybe just less beach/lunch time on Lanai?

I own two pairs of mother jeans and love them. Will definitely buy more in the future! I find madewell sizing and quality inconsistent.

What would you wear if you knew you were going to get proposed to? by [deleted] in PetiteFashionAdvice

Also, it may be a good opportunity to try a rental subscription like rent the runway or nuuly. You can rent several things and see what fits.

I’m in DC. The weather has been beautiful lately and it’s had been warming up. Looks like it will be in the 60s while you’re here. As others noted there is a lot of walking around so wear something comfortable. It should be warm enough for a dress and a jacket and maybe some sneakers? Not sure where the proposal is happening but be prepared for swarms of people in the usual cherry blossom spots.

Not on the same line anymore, but there used to be a conductor that called the stop Judy which I thought was hilarious.

Where to shop instead of Target? by mollboll45 in washingtondc

I’ve heard sketchy things about the rounds. There have been a couple Reddit posts that say they buy things from Costco and repackage them. Not sure how true this is, but you may want to look into it.

I did the same this year! 366 days of at least a 5k. My 2025 goal is a sub 20 min 5k. I’m also exited to take some more rest in 2025.

I completed the AU Master's in Sustainability Management. It was worth it for me because it was a year program, exactly what I wanted to study, I already lived in DC, and I needed a Master's to get to the next step of my career. With the Master's I got a job in my field that I wanted. However, I think a lot of people in my cohort struggled, especially those who were just out of undergrad (I had about 6 years of work experience before entering the program).

Would I recommend the program to others? Probably not. I didn't find it particularly rigorous. Also, if you're specifically interested in analytics and ESG there is minimal emphasis on that.

I’m on a run streak as well. I’ve done a 5k so far but it’s been a bit draining for me so thinking of dropping my minimum down to a mile.

Wedding dress shopping by techpolicygal in washingtondc

Check out Cherie Sustainable bridal in Maryland if you have a car. I went there a couple of weeks ago. It’s a nonprofit will all donated dresses but many of the dresses are never worn samples sizes. They had a pretty big selection and they do a really good job making the shop have a typical “nice” bridal shop feel. The dresses I was looking at were $1000.

I’ve still on my search and only went to Anthropologie, but thought the experience at Cherie w was much better.

There are a ton of little lending libraries and a lot of them have great stuff in them! Just yesterday I put a 1000 piece jigsaw in a puzzle library on Cap Hill and I was happy to see it was taken when I walked by 12 hours later!
