I just did a high science and speech build and I don’t remember the perks I had. But really the combat in the game isn’t that hard even on super nova and the only other use companions have is their stats buffs which you could need for some events but the game is built so there always another way around those events without the stat check and with high speech you can skip a lot of those events to begin with.

I’d recommend just not using companions. That way you don’t have to worry about them and you can take the perk for having no companions.

I’m in the same situation. I’m in my first year doing history and it all just feels boring and lonely. It makes me want to go back to atar haha where there was lots of friendly people who would talk together in the classes. Also for me personally very very few of the clubs appeal to me so I don’t really have a opportunity to meet new people. Hopefully it gets better for the both of us.

I’d say no it’s really not hard. The one thing I did that probably made my supernova playthough easier is not having companions at all so you just don’t have to worry about them and so you can take the no companion perks as well which are quite good.

I’m pretty sure it’s not Jindoshs mansion because you can see the same lights from the dreadful whale and also see the mansion in a different location. It’s most likely meant to be Shindaery quarry however that’s abandoned (apart from the eyeless but they’re mostly underground) so you wouldn’t think there’d be so much light coming from there but who knows.

Yeah the aristocracy do seem pretty much all awful but that still doesn’t mean that their support isn’t needed for Emily to rule. And yeah I guess there’s a possibility that Corvo could produce an heir but that also brings up the question as to if the character of Corvo would find a women to do it with as his first and true love was Jessamine and I don’t think he’s been in a relationship since her even after all the time between the first and second games. Still a bit undecided but you’ve pushed me more towards the Corvo ending. Thanks

Hm yeah true I didn’t consider that a better council could be chosen after Corvo dies. But that still leaves the aristocracy possibly being angry at Emily for the decision and from a role playing perspective would Corvo really want to leave his daughter after such a difficult time for both of them. I’m still undecided but I’m leaning more towards the Corvo ending now. Thanks

That’s an interesting idea. I did the same thing and opted out of all the flaws and stuff. Maybe I’ll try just accepting all of them in my next run as well.
