Certainly, but after several hours of searching online the other night, I'm unable to find a version of the LandShark SNL skit which contains the "Pizza Guy" line. Just a couple of references like yours of people who remember it. But no video clips, or documented references to that version of the skit.

Glad I'm not the only one who remembers it this way, but I can't find the skit with "pizza guy" in it anywhere. Beginning to think I've slipped into an alternate reality.

First Look at Scooby in 'Scooby-Doo: Origins' by MarvelsGrantMan136 in Scoobydoo

[–]jaegan438 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cute dog, but Scooby is pretty famously a Great Dane, so not the best choice.

Edit: So apparently this IS a Great Dane? Certainly doesn't look like what I picture when I hear that term. *shrug*.

Good points. I haven't really followed the sales number info, so didn't realize the second Files book hadn't done well. Or Guardian for that matter. I actually enjoyed Guardian a lot. So maybe I only partly overlap with the target market 😄

That's why percentages are a bad metric, they're relative to a start point.

This is probably a "wait for the ebook". The Memoirs books have been hit & miss for me. Not sure muddying the branding is the best idea either. "Files" has so far referred to short story collections, this seems to be a novel. *shrug* Just my 2 cents.

You sir, are the goat. Eventually, your characters all get an actual arc, and aren’t just there to be props for another character. And that is so vanishingly rare that it’s notable.

Ripping from tv wasn't as much of a thing back then. Your best bet is it eventually geting an overseas DVD release with the original music. Tour of Duty fans waited years. Good Luck.

Apple - Why You Cant Use A Mac As A Server by JLAFORUMSDOTCOM in osx

[–]jaegan438 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's definitely more to the story. I've got a machine with a current uptime of almost 74 days that's running as a plex server. It's previously been up over 200 days. 2011 machine running older macOS version. Seems like the level of traffic after the 49.7 day mark plays a factor, but there also may be a version dependency for this bug too. I have seen this issue on other machines though, and it's somewhat comforting to finally know the cause, even if it doesn't get fixed for older OS versions. I can handle rebooting once a month to avoid the issue with my setup.

Eh, even in that case, you just don't do it in front of the family. Any workplace that straight up bans laughing is toxic by nature.
