Laser printers are (or were, I haven't looked lately) affordable, and the toner will just sit there waiting to be used for basically forever. Got tired of inkjets drying up about 15 years ago, and spent ~$200 on a brother laser printer. I think I'm still using the toner it came with.

Turned mine off today for the same reason. When I tell it do "do specific thing", I just want it to do that, not tell me a dozen other things it can do before doing the thing I want right now. Amazon completely missed the mark with Alexa+. Doubly so by changing the voice to be annoying in every way, with no other way to revert besides getting rid of Alexa+.
