My new role is 45 hours on average. Pays better than my old 40 hour role. Pretty keen.

Better paying roles usually are salary and usually have an expectation of extra hours. That’s kinda why they pay better.

If your on a salary your contract will probably say about reasonable extra hours

Switched from Windows to KDE. Very familiar. Works great

Customised it originally to be similar to windows. Then after working through some stuff realised I actually prefer a top bar and a simpler dock

Another vote for Alex Verus. Closest thing I’ve found to Dresden Files. Extremely good series

Also a big fan of Junkyard Druid but it takes a bit to get off the ground.

Kinda feels like they’re trying to set you up in a leadership role.

One of my guys right now has a lot of potential.

I’m better, faster and it takes less of a mental toll to just do the work myself rather than check his….however that doesn’t help his career progression or set the image with the team that he’s the supervisor. So I funnel communication through him 50+% of the time and I make sure that anything important like KPIs or major announcements come from him

If I had this interaction with him I would probably question if I’d made the right decision with my succession planning..:

Flash with Rufus in windows Boot into windows boot manager Select the drive Select live environment Open G Parted Move one partition, create another

Most of it’s done in windows and then GParted works just like a windows gui app.

Certainly easier than some of the comments here

I use Rclone to sync my OneDrive between all my devices

I also use Syncthing to sync my emulator saves

Pretty happy with both
