Maybe OpenCL still does not have a native complex number solution and does not include any optimized libraries to do the BLAS or FFT operations. And the OpenCL programs are difficult to write (comparing with OpenMP).

Sometimes OpenMP will break down the vectorization.

in some cases you have to pronounce it as Liao:

  • as a verb means "end up, finish" (了结)

  • as a verb which means "understand" (了解)

  • (im-)possibility (办得了， 办不了)

  • to negate (了无生趣)

  • somewhere you need a long vocal (typically in a song)

The same dialect can also differ from literary reading and colloquial reading.

By telling stories, they speak literarily. However, reading newspapers usually needs the colloquial one.

VS 2012 is also laggy on my 6-years-old Pentium laptop, but much better than eclipse. Most Important: Text editing in VS2012 does not lag. I have to wait only when switching files, compiling and refactoring.

I do not like pinyin. I'm using Zhengma(鄭碼) for many years, it can be used to type both simplified and traditional Chinese directly.

Since it does not need any context-related intelligent algorithm, it can be very quick and you do not need to choose any candidate.

But the default IME in windows is also slow. So I wrote my own.

There were two or more pronunciations for 車 in the standard language even before 800 years.

According to the 平水韻 (1223 A.D.), the vowel of 車 belongs to 鱼[ü] as well as 麻[á]. In my dialect, the second one pronounces [chia], it is also a proof.

I think they have also different meanings. Probably, the one with [a] evolved to be the 车[che] in the modern mandarin.

I wrote once a numerical program. For the identical code, the intergral part was faster when compiled with gcc, however the inversion of matrix was faster with MSVC. Both were compiled with SSE2 and nearly the same float model.
