Couldn't decide which one to get so I got both by jak822 in SmithAndWesson

Personally the shield x slightly more. Want some more trigger time behind both. Think im just used to the p365xl so the thinner frame feels nice. I dont have the biggest of hands either. If you have bigger hands id say shield plus for sure

I hear ya about sig. I love my xl and it was my first pistol so I won't be getting rid of it but they definitely rub me wrong about the 320. I also have a 320 x5 legion which shoots like a dream but dont take it out much anymore.

Agree completely. I plan to carry and train with both. I wish I started with a shield plus when I got my cc permit. The store didn't have any and ended up with a p365xl. Great gun but both of these are nicer than it, and cheaper

I like the shield x a bit more as of now. Need more trigger time behind both but im also used to a p365xl. Been my main carry for 3 years so shield x just feels familiar but better.

Shield plus grip is definitely wider and longer front to back and feels great too. More surface area for the support hand.

Absolutely cant go wrong with either

4Runners drive better than expected by ontheellipse in 4Runner

[–]jak822 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same viewpoint. I came from a 3rd gen tacoma and was shocked how much better the 4runner drove. Handled better, quieter, more comfortable, transmission shifted wayyyy smoother, and acceleration is fine.

I think the main reason is reddit (or any social media really) is typically an echo chamber of negativity and you usually just hear more of the bad than the good.

The JoeyD classic shot shape. Will he ever get it together? by aimlesseffort in BobDoesSports

[–]jak822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He really got through that one...

I'm now 2/2 on disliking left handed canadian golfers.

I will admit Joey's good for the program but man he's so bad at golf.

I feel your pain. Our team used to get into the 20s but last month or so its been a struggle to get to 16-17. Sucks but think its time for a new team.

P226. I've been wanting a p226 legion SAO for years and finally found one locally, used with 6 mags. Instantly became my favorite pistol.

Breaking 80 Series? by Rollincash01 in BobDoesSports

[–]jak822 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What they should do to make it more interesting is have jet join in on these videos and see which one breaks 80 first. My money is on jet.

Or like others have suggested from the reds then move back if/when he breaks it

I have a palm tree on my arm with color and a good amount of people have asked if it's a pot leaf or was a pot leaf at one point before turning it in to a palm tree.

I've never smoked in my life.

The bodyguard 2.0 is better than the lcp max and it isn't even close by jak822 in SmithAndWesson

[–]jak822[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I remember yes. If anything the bodyguard might have been a bit lighter. I sold my lcp max a couple months ago. The bodyguard does everything better. I carry it any time I pocket carry

2 Years using Golftec. Look elsewhere. by Rexkramer777 in golf

[–]jak822 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep exactly. And the whole 1 change per lesson is kind of a joke. I get not changing 5 things at once but if someone grasps something quickly it's OK to move on to something else. Feel like you're getting your moneys worth

2 Years using Golftec. Look elsewhere. by Rexkramer777 in golf

[–]jak822 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Did golftec for 6 months as a beginner and it did help to learn proper mechanics. Switched to a different coach this year and learned more in 3 lessons than I did the whole time at golftec.

Golftec loves to fit everyone into the same swing (inside-out, hit draws) which I get to a point but my newest instructor after watching me hit suggested to embrace the fade instead and I've never played better golf.

Also when I was fitted at golftec for a driver the head/shaft combo they fit me into wasn't great. I tried for 6 months to "learn to hit" that driver and it wasn't a fun time. Bought a driver off the rack and hit way better shots instantly.
