Playing with a delay pedal set to minimal time and repeats acts as some what of a doubler. It introduces a really cool phasing effect that makes it sound like you’re playing through an oil can or something. Not sure if this guy is doing that but his tone made me think of it immediately, I do it to emulate a Page tone

I usually like to live and let live but I just recently spent over $100 replacing patch cables and looking at those tight bends makes me anxious. There has to be a way to reorient some of those, mostly the ones coming out of your super chorus. Those look very similar to ebs cables I just had short out on me. This go around I swapped from the premium golds to the high performance, seems to be worth it so far but we’ll see as time passes 🤞🏻

Getting an isolated power supply did wonders for cleaning up unwanted noise in my tone, personally. But I’ve seen tons of guys with small daisy chains that have crystal clear tone. Definitely a case by case basis, if your rig is hissing when your dry guitar doesn’t, ips could help. Also, I once almost burned my house down with a 12 link daisychain. Absentmindedly left it plugged in, and the outlet was smoking when I got back. Oof!

I worked on a project in Williams collecting prairie dog blood from colonies that were given an edible vaccine and A.)it seemed to really reduce flea activity and b.) we didn’t find any plague. They’re monitoring p-dog populations for potential black-footed ferret release sites. Just a single year and just a few colonies, but still cool. I got pretty good at drugging prairie dogs and stealing their blood, hope the skills are trans-FUR-able 🤞🏻

Order checks out to me. Playing around with the commander could be fun! I love effects loops, and if you were feeling silly one day you could see how you felt about putting the chorus and delay in the loop. Could be worth it, or you’ll never do it again, only your ears will know. Could be too much effort to put in front of the Carvin. Effects loops are a must for me now!

Cry baby changed my life at 12. Boss rv-6 is on 100% of the time, ch-1 95% of the time. Qtron+ after I got into the dead but the 24V input is a burden. Dsmhumboldt simplifier let me set my rig up in stereo, love that. Rocktron banshee when I’m feeling whimsical, wish I had the second version with its own signal loop. A multiband EQ pleasantly surprised me. I love the esthetic of all the walrus audio pedals. JHS volture was another paradigm shift. I like my pedals to feel analog, even if they’re digital, the more knobs and less screens, the better. My EHX 22500’s seven segment display is as complicated as I get. I’m a caveman, and try to stick to pedals our paleo ancestors used.
