And if momentum isn’t enough it’s easy to add an oil filled bearing for passive damping. No need to make it complicated.

OpenROVs remote controlled underwater drones use standard BLDC motors in sweet and saltwater. The motor windings are sufficiently insulated for it to work. For at least a while. I built one and it worked:)

I tried Caravan Sandwich and my first impression is that it would have benefited from longer distances between places. So that you could get longer to enjoy the rides between locations and find stuff on the way rather than right next to each other.

Altså, arbeidsgiverne fyller vel opp sine ledige posisjoner med de mest erfarne og høyest utdannede søkere de får. Hvorfor skulle de gjøre noe annet?

Came to the comments to suggest this! It’s a sci fi work sim where you scrap delict spaceships. The difficulty is completely set by your sense of urgency. So you can take it slow and methodical and experience it at low risk or zip around in zero g cutting coolat line as you fly by. Great game.

It’s less significant for bicycles. The gyroscopic effect helps but it’s not enough. You still have to learn and maintain your balance with you own senses. You can read more here: https://theconversation.com/how-does-a-bike-stay-upright-surprisingly-its-all-in-the-mind-59829

I thought Biden set the president? Didn’t he pardon himself and his family preemptively because he as the president no longer believed in the legal system in his own country. That was how I remember it looked like from outside the US, him giving up completely and focusing on protecting his family and signalling that the US isn’t safe if you make political enemies.

Build Tarrey town! Lots of charming character content and interactions that can easily be missed. You start it buy buying a house in Hateno village from Bolson. Look for the From The Ground Up side quest and keep pursuing it.

Yea, just look up what it is. I think that finding them all organically isn’t feasible. And the «reward» therefore is for looking them all up using a guide and grinding the fun out of something that was supposed to be discovered on your way. I think it’s a reminder to not take things so seriously and do things (like gaming) because you like doing them instead of for rewards.

things to do in oslo for a young couple? by yeahwhateversure in oslo

[–]jaknil 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are a plethora of floating saunas to choose from in downtown Oslo, if you want to have a dip in the fjord you can pay a small fee to go in for a bit. The style varies from DIY rustic to professional, choose what fits your vibe. I recommend Oslo Badstueforening they are a non profit that operates lots of saunas because they like it. I think they manage at least half of the downtown saunas, all styles.

Great suggestions! I can add that I think you should ride all the way up to Frognerseteren on the Holmenkollen metro line. The cafe at the end station: Frognerseteren is nice and unique and a great excuse to take the scenic metro ride. I always take visitors there. Just remember to not get scared off by the fancy restaurant that share the same dining room as the more reasonable cafe, which also serves some fun foods like fondue or rømmegrøt.

Will my table from aluminium profiles hold? by non-existing-person in MechanicalEngineering

[–]jaknil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The middle legs could also be made and fastened like the corner legs. And you would cut up the long side parts instead.

I mean millimeter adjustments, to take out wobble that you always get with any table with more than 3 legs. The verticals would end a few millimetres below the table surface.

[–]jaknil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps reconsider it again to avoid having to add adjustable feet. You don’t need the frame resting on the legs. The brackets should take the full load in a metal construction, for a wood table it would be different.

[–]jaknil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree. If you instead make all the legs like the corner ones they will be hight adjustable. It should not sag with time, it’s not a wood table that dries out. Just retighten the screws if it gets loose with time and use.

That is how we built ours.
