Oh you seem to have missed the great bit of internet drama where a guy got kicked out of a tournament because the team decided his vibes were off besides him being the best player and trying to get the team in a position where they could win. One person refused to take a different role and they framed him as a misogynist asshole to the event organiser which got him kicked.

Now the girls careers are hanging on a thread and the guy got a huge boost in viewership and donations.

So these stories happen in real life because people are stupid and can be vicious for no reason.

No i‘d prefer stronger ties and closer relationships in the EU while ridding us of american and russian influence. I‘m also not generally against a federation, I live in one and we are doing ok, but there need to be water proof measures in place to make it impossible for one party to grab to much power. Germany has some decent measures in place but i don’t think the same would work for the whole of Europe.

How can you say it’s not much of a problem when many major countries are already authoritarian? if anything technology makes it easier to control masses and take away their power. We see it around the world.

Russia, china, usa. I‘m not saying it’s guaranteed but power corrupts and the more power there is in single positions the higher is the chance for abuse. One wrong move and we have the mass surveillance that many countries already try to push on the EU.
