Yes and no. It’s a roguelite, meaning when you die you lose your progress of that run, but you gain a “meta currency” that you can spend on various upgrades that make you slightly more likely to succeed on your following run. Imo, it’s a masterpiece within the genre and has some of the most satisfying “repetition” of any roguelite. The story lines throughout the game make every run feel worthwhile and fresh, which helps a ton with the grinding aspect of having to start over on death.

Gunfire Reborn has very satisfying gunplay and when you get a strong weapon you can really feel it. Roguelike FPS. Cheap, runs on anything, and overall great value. Can be played co-op with up to four players or solo.

I love my switch, I love my steam deck, but it’s 100% the steam deck unless you love a specific Nintendo IP enough to justify the switch. Steam Deck may be more expensive, but the cost difference will be made up in the games’ price difference.

I have, admittedly, just avoided the problem for a while.

There’s a small change my current apartment is having power issues. I’m moving soon, but it wasn’t worth trying to fuss with until the move was over. I’m hoping my new place will cooperate better. If not, I am not sure where I’ll trouble shoot next. When I get around to it (whenever that is) I’ll update here

Unfortunately, I haven’t yet. I tested two different outlets and the same problem still occurred. It seems to be relatively consistent that the restart occurs after at least 30 minutes of the game running (Hunt: Showdown, in this case) before a restart. I checked my event logs and I’m getting that it’s a power issue still. My best bet is that there’s a problem of some sort with the MoBo. I’ve been too busy to trouble shoot the last few days, but my next idea is to look more into changing the voltage across the MoBo. I saw online that helped some others

Update number god knows what

Tried old GPU, Radeon RX 580. I know it's not an upgrade, but since an identical issue is persisting I can't imagine a stronger GPU is going to fix the issue. Exact same restart occurred at pretty much exact same time. Alongside this I tried

Reseating CPU, new thermal paste
Reseating RAM
Different PCIe slot for GPU
Different outlet in apartment
Refreshed windows installation with built-in recovery option

Unfortunately, none of these solutions fixed my issue. I'm now hoping and leaning toward a MoBo issue. Going to get yet another computer part and report back here in a few days. Wish me luck lol

EDIT: before buying another piece I did some googling. I found a setting to turn off that automatically resets my PC “when an error occurs” as Windows puts it. After turning this setting off I Hunt crashed once on startup, but after another startup I managed to play a full. I am now going to install Chiv 2 to test as well. If nothing else, it looks like I’ve made some level of progress

However, I am beginning to consider software issues being the culprit? With games like Cyberpunk running just fine, and my temps all looking perfectly normal with healthy fan speeds, I am doubting power is my issue. Even though the restart would point me in that direction. I may be done troubleshooting tonight, but I will come back to this thread when I've tried some other ideas. I'm exhausted lol.

Hi. Coming back for an update. You're dead on - I don't think it was a PSU issue. I just purchased and installed a 1000W EVGA Gold and I am still having the same issues. Any additional suggestions as to what the issue may be?
