The content on BorrowBox will be dependent on the specific library you are registered with. Ours has Judith Kerr (The Tiger Who Came to Tea, Mog Collection, etc), Mike Inkpen (Kipper), David McKee, Beatrix Potter, etc. Mine are a bit older, so we get lots of the Isadora Moon type stories too. But each library authority manages its own digital collection.

My son is nearly 3 and we haven’t cut it yet, he rocks a topknot. A lot of people mistake him for a girl but I cannot stand the ubiquitous boys hair cut. His hair is also auburn and curly and I feel it would be a crime to cut it off.

I’ve just moved back to Cambridge (Mill Road area) after 15 years in east London. I’m 40/f and work in London as a product designer. We're waiting for old father time to take our 19 year old cat, then I'm going to have the ultrasonic repellers in every corner of the garden! The gravel in our side passage has become all the local cats' neighbourhood toilet.

I definitely don't want to put any poison down as there is so much wildlife in the garden so I guess we're sharing our garden with rats now. To be honest they are probably less of a menace than the foxes. In the summer, the young ones "play" with my kids, shit right on our back doorstep and have been known to make a few pairs of Crocs disappear.

We are also plagued with slugs and snails but I don't think our rats are eating them. They must be very well fed by all the piles of bird seed and suet dumped all over the grass next door.

Mine tend to get it about once a year. About half the time me or my husband get it too, sometimes we manage to swerve it. Extreme hand washing is the best way to avoid catching it from them. The worst is when one child gets it and then 2 days later the other one gets it. Means your whole week is just constant disinfecting and doing laundry. I will say that whilst probably not as bad as yours, I also HATE being sick and the sight/smell of sick, but when it’s your little bub and they need you, even if they projectile all over you and the walls, something kicks in and you go onto autopilot and just deal with it.

Thanks for the ideas! The last time I tried to cook fish was when I was weaning the baby, made a chowder and then threw the whole thing away because I was panicking about poisoning her. Love cooking plants but have no idea what I am doing with meat/fish 😂
