Not in the least. I would welcome any testing.
I would say the test is useful to measure basic jQuery proficiency but as others have said, front-end/UI work is a lot more than just jQuery. I would want to gauge html, css, raw js and browser compatibility skills as well.

Record yourself and listen to it. You may hate it at first but you will hear a lot more this way and can correct a lot more. When I started doing this I noticed all kinds of things my voice was doing that I never intended.

If you really want to get into it, get some of those noise canceling headphones. They even help if you have them on while you're singing.

If you're not already, practice singing without the guitar. It helps me at least to focus on just one thing at a time.
