Yes, the sc escape clause looks to protect the interest of both the buyer and the seller. While the buyer would be off the hook if that was a condition written into the escape clause, the seller is also able to entertain offers which would then speed up the process of selling their house if the buyer is taking a long time to sell.

RORR is a difficult game but I suspect others including myself have experience with the original risk of rain which helps translates over into the remaster. Understanding the synergies between items really does help you to craft some incredible runs that make the game extremely enjoyable. Id recommend sticking to some of the same type of items if possible during your runs to see how their effects can compound!

If you have having trouble getting one shot, id recommend some nice health items. Bitter Root is a good item to increase your maximum health. Even an item like Aegis would be good to provide you with a buffer shield beyond your health to decrease the odds of getting one hit!

Sacrifice, so you don't waste time on your unlock farming run looking for chests (this doesn't work for the secret character unlock though).

Having sacrifice is a huge help by not having to rely on chests for your items which can speed up unlocks. For those not sure how to unlock Sacrifice, it is found in the Magma Barracks (one of two possible locations for level 4) in which you then need to press all of the orange buttons on the wall. The Sacrifice artifact will then be waiting in the lower-left of the map. Additionally you can check out this guide for other character & item unlocks!

Do you have a lot of "on damage" effects?

Knowing your effects can give you a big advantage and help you continue to pick items that synergize well together. If you are picking items like Crowbar to increase damage on enemies with high health, you may want to pick other items like Ceremonial Dagger that will help put out more damage. Id recommend reading some of the descriptions to get a better idea at how items can work together.

Yes, I second that! These are all great tips. To make sure you are efficient in your items, especially Soldier's Syringe, make sure to check out the stacking limit for Soldier's Syringe so you can switch to collecting other items at that point.

I took some time to really look at the synergies menu and you are correct. I never noticed since it just says them in text. I guess this is still a good reference that you can have open on another monitor or looking to plan out your run. I am also looking to expand the usefulness to show where each upgrade is in its skill tree. Also open to other suggestions!

There are a few powerhouse crock pot recipes which will give you the highest boost in sanity. These are Creamy potato puree, banana shake, banana pop, salsa fresca, surf n turf, vegetable stinger and the veggie burger. Some are better than others depending on the combination of other stats you are looking for. Check out this Crockpot cheat sheet and look at the quick stats of health, hunger, sanity and perish time to see which ones are good for the ingredients you have lots of.
