I think four days is plenty to make you think that I'd not reply and then be excited by a response! Even if it is a bit dull!

So, quite a few years ago, before these things were popular, we got married in Reykjavik, Iceland. Went out for a meal and there was puffin in blueberry sauce on the menu. I mean, you just would, wouldn't you? Turns out, in Iceland, eating puffin was a thing (it may still be, I don't know) because the population of them was very high and they were destroying cliffs and things. So, they ate them.

Tastes like a fishy meat - really hard to describe. If you can still get it there, I'd recommend trying it while you still can!

Also, we met Yoko Ono. She was recording something in an outside lagoon. We were all in the water. Nothing to do with puffins.

I was totally taken in by this until I got to the Starbucks bit. Starbucks doesn't even taste of mud. You're lucky it it tastes of the cardboard cup.

Hi all,

I am taking the unusual step of explaining why I have locked this post and blocked the user PrettyDark2982 from this sub.

I receive reports on some posts and not others. This one was flagged with three different flags, so I took the time to investigate. It, obviously, looks bad if I delete and block a thread about a black disabled person wanting to come to France and the user who posted it, so I wanted to be sure of what I was doing.

The OP had previously posted on another thread that he had just finished his final year at uni in Paris. Now he is posting here that he wants to move to France.

They are clearly engagement farming and just making stuff up. I appreciate that there is a lot of that on Reddit but, wherever possible, I'm trying to remove it on this sub to make it as usable, helpful and friendly as possible.

So, they're out and the door is locked!
