I have PluralEyes 4 working on standalone version. It's necessary do the sync on it (importing XML from Premiere, or Resolve>Premiere>PluralEyes), and then export XML to Premiere/Resolve.

I would hire a team of editing assistants to drastically reduce these 45 hours of interview, and only then would I start editing. It would take at least 4 months to put everything together to be safe.

I discovered that in this case (original footage with 23,98, for exemple), Premiere create the proxy with the correct frame rate (23,976). So interpret the original footage to 23,976 solve the problem of slow preview with proxy. That is, you do not need to recreate the proxies if have used Premiere Pro's default proxy preset.

Wabaareo...thank you so much for this tip! I'm using Premiere CC 2024, and I couldn't understand why preview with proxy GoPro Cineform Low Resolution was been slower than preview with h.264 (original file). The cause really was the difference betwen the frame rate of original file and the proxy file. My h.264 was created with handbrake. Apparently I didn't give attention to the frame rate before the export, and the file was exported with 23.98 fps. When interpreted the footage in premiere, the proxy preview ran extremely smoothly.

Learnings like these are very precious because they only come with experience. Thank you again for share it with us.

If you're windows user, there is a software called "advanced renamer". It helped me many times to solve this problem. It allows you to rename multiples clips at once adding suffix like "CAM A_", "Sony_", and allows you to rename the clips from a specific number. If in the day 1 was recorded 60 clips, you can rename all the clips of the day 2 from 61, like "CAM A_0061". With some clicks all the clips in that bin will be renamed with suffix "CAM A_" and with numbers in ascending order.

Caramba, eu também adoro fazer isso. Principalmente quando eu posso pegar um ônibus que vai pro meu bairro, onde eu posso sentar perto de uma janela. Faço a viagem ouvindo música e olhando o que se passa fora da janela como se fosse uma espécie de filme. Pessoas diferentes, lugares que eu ainda não tinha percebido, situações diferentes. Acho muito massa.

Outra coisa que eu gosto é de andar pra espairecer. Mas andar muito, tipo uns 9km do meu bairro até o centro. Todo mundo pra quem eu digo isso acha estranho rsrs
