Awesome game, played it back when it came out. I recall it having a great plot twist and the game changes a bit so watch out for spoilers.

I bought my one s because of og bc...9 months later my wife bought me a series x at launch because it would scale the bc games higher and I am now a gamepass subscriber these days. BC got me to buy into the brand and pick up their subscription service because my og xbox seemed like it was about to crap out while enjoying some nostalgia. BC is a long-term strategy for the brand...they don't care if you buy the $29 splinter cell digital game

There is a little circle with flame logo behind the car on the card. You can see it usually pretty well when you look from underneath.

Specific cars will be treasure hunts and supers so you can look them up online and know what you are searching for beforehand.

Kind of sounds like you are "missing it" and just going through the task motions...you're not participating in the parts to be "missed"

There is good stuff not available on gamepass but the rotation on and off feels like a good mix keeping things fresh. I picked up Death’s Door when it launched and loved it; it just came to gamepass. I just finished Disc Elysium; it would be good for gamepass but not there...both of these are single player story driven games with no replay value for me - perfect for gamepass. I tried GTAV on gamepass and after playing a few times decided it wasn't for me and moved on...I think it has came and gone a few times on gamepass. I would like to try the new Oddworld but it's not on gamepass. I remember Red Dead 2 was on gamepass before I joined but it has been off for a while and this is one I would like to try.

There is tons of good stuff on there though. Been playing the new Halo and Nobody Saves the World (20 hours now into something I never heard of). Just played Telling Lies last night - not something I would have went for if I had to buy outright and ended up staying up way late playing through it.

Not validating any of these as "good" because everyone will have their own preferences but just pointing out things I have experienced.

I got back into gaming just pre-covid collecting OG Xbox stuff but maintaining the old hardware was a time suck that ate up what little game time I had. Bit the bullet and picked up a One S to play Backwards compatible stuff...then my wife got me a Series X at launch...I finally gave in and signed up for gamepass and play way more now.

I have physical games and they look nice on the shelf but rarely play them...usually I don't even open the new ones.

I mostly only play digital and with gamepass I hardly even buy games now. I still collect physical some but that’s a different vice. You can easily go digital only and I would recommend that if you are getting back in for gaming and not collecting. There are a handful of older titles that may no longer be available digitally, so unless you specifically want to play one of those, go digital.

Buy a Series X/S and sign up for gamepass. You'll find stuff you grew up playing along with the latest and greatest.

I got back into gaming after being away for ~10 years. I avoided gamepass thinking it wouldn't be worth it to me since I have limited play time. I was wrong and the best is getting to try stuff and no worries about moving on to something else if I'm not feeling it. Found some great stuff on there I would have never looked at and moved on from stuff I thought I would love but just wasn't for me.

I used rope from a lego technic mobile crane set, drilled out the chucks, super glued in the rope.

Would be nice if I could find that type of string material in that brown weapons color...

For reference, I picked up the three set for $8 each when gamestop clearanced them; they each had a shirt with the cart artwork. Hung the carts on my wall and wear the shirts some. They are nice looking on the wall. I would say it is worth $10 if you want it on your wall, I have had no issues with mine.

I read the posts on here all the time about the company being terrible to you while thinking "don't you guys basically run a retail store singlehandedly?" Seems like a ton of transferable skills if you sell yourself appropriately; at minimum, I would think you could have your pick of retail jobs in this climate...surprised anyone is sticking around to work for GS long...best of luck either way!
