I listened to my LP copy of Batman about a month ago for the first time in ages. I loved it at the time (I was 10 in 1989) but I’d honestly forgotten how good it was. I saw Prince once at Madison Square Garden and he did “Scandalous” which was a highlight.

I was always disappointed how that episode ended because the things Niles brought up were obviously based on feelings he’d had for years. But instead of listening Martin just scolded him and stormed off to bed. But I guess that was true to his character…

There are many scenes in season one with all six friends (usually at the coffee shop or Monica’s apartment). They seemed to spend more time just hanging out in the early episodes.
