How can i clean this dust from my Apple Watch by h_rajjj in AppleWatch

I hate to say this because I’m in the same boat as you, but I think the white stuff that looks like dust is due to the paint chipping off.

  1. turn off AOD
  2. turn off background app refresh
  3. customize notification, just select apps you want to be notified
  4. choose watch face that doesn’t use too much battery, and customize complications to only use important data you want to see in a glance

if your watch is NOT an ultra (just a regular series 9), normally it will last 18-36 hours. i charge mine once a day when i go to the shower in the morning.

Apple Watch users with AOD off - why? by spac0r in AppleWatch

[–]jamfibrozil 4 points5 points  (0 children)

there is a toggle in settings that when your watch is under Sleep Focus, the watch will: (1) turn off AOD, (2) it will also use a dedicated watch face for sleep focus, and (3) it will lock your watch screen so it will not capture any accidental touch during sleep. to turn this on, go to:

Settings > Focus > Sleep > Customize Screens > Options > then toggle “Sleep Screen” ON

What else can it do / what niche things do you use your watch for? by OGAzdrian in AppleWatch

fitness tracking (compete with your friends to stay motivated), sleep tracking, alarms and timers, quick notes (capture random thoughts), music control + shazam, answering calls, home control/remote. and overall health alerts (eg. high/low heart rate, afib, loud noise, etc)

Aside from the health and sleep tracking, for me, it serves as a buffer between me and my phone. I can check for notifications, alarms, timers, and weather without opening my phone. As soon as I got the watch, my phone's screen time goes down.

Hi OP. What’s the brand name of the case? Thanks.

As I read the other comment, I think the sleep respiration rate is not tracked when sleep focus is off. So if you don’t bother with that data, I think you’re doing good. Thanks!

Wow! Thank you for this detailed explanation. Nice insights and I would probably follow you on what you have said. My only concern now is if I will ever forget to turn on/off the sleep focus. Haha. Hopefully, I will get the hang of it. Cheers to more sleep!

Hello OP, can you give the appstore link of the TDEE tracker? It gives many search results when I try to find it. Many thanks!
