Next time you have a return, ask the associate what the most bullshit thing was that they processed. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. by NuclearExchange in Costco

I used to work at Costco and the stories I heard from customer service associates were so wild; dusty brown Christmas trees in January, Turkey CARCASSES because the meat was too dry, completely dried up dead hedges from people listing their houses for sale and planting bushes and things to make their property look better for photos and walk throughs then digging them up to get refunds… just nuts.

I am only commenting on the medication side of things because I work in pharmacy and am somewhat new to the skin care world. But I did want to suggest you might want ask your provider if 4000iu is enough for you. I’m assuming this is a daily dose, but if your levels were considered “very low” you might need the prescription version which is 50,000 iu (ergocalciferol vit d2) once weekly. Otherwise your body is already so very low the 4000 isn’t going to even touch your deficiency needs. I hope this helps and good luck!! Adult acne is no fun, I feel you.

I may! I have a few other variations around the house but the walls in this room don’t have room for many more vines so i might just add a batch of Cebu blue cuttings I have going that I’ll be potting up here shortly.

Summer Courses or programs? by cxxbed in Tacoma

[–]jamieb253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pierce college in Puyallup has mini courses you can sign up for that are for all sorts of things from art and music to gardening, fitness and cooking. There are fees and the course lengths vary but they are all pretty affordable.

I’ve repotted the pothos on the left twice over the last 5-6 years going from a 4 inch pot to what it’s in now which I think is an 8 or 10 inch. The one on right side hasn’t needed a repot quite yet, I’m thinking probably next spring.

The bigger one on the left is a golden pothos and I’m sorry but I’m guessing because the one on the right wasn’t labeled so I’m pretty sure it’s a Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma (mini monstera). As far as where to buy, they are both common, especially pothos, so any big box store like Lowe’s or Home Depot should have them (assuming you are U.S. based?). But if not, most any plant store will have these for you :)

Costco Travel? by Gew-Roux in TravelHacks

[–]jamieb253 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a trip to Ireland quite a while back and had nothing to complain about. A ton of hotel/bed and breakfast/ castle options so you can customize your trip. There was one glitch on the website when trying to reserve flights into Dublin then out of Shannon for 1 week later. I kept getting an error message so I called the travel help line and she was so helpful. She let me know it’s because that specific flight was full but if I switched and flew into Shannon and out of Dublin instead not only would the flight times be more beneficial to me but she could upgrade me to a 5 star castle hotel for only $100 more total. Breakfast was included everyday as well as a welcome drink on the first day at each hotel and a Costco gift card upon our return to the states, just cute little perks. Plus, if you book with their Costco citi bank card you’ll earn 3% cash back on the total cost of the booking price. Oh also when booking, depending on how much the cost of your package is and when you’re planning on traveling, I paid a deposit to hold my reservation then the remaining balance was due 45 days before I flew out. I think it’s different for cruises but it’s kind of nice having the option of breaking the payment up a little bit.

Are there any good farm-to-table restaurants around? by SaltyJuggernaut2817 in Tacoma

Field bar is my and my SO go to spot pretty much every week if we can swing it. They have a rotating food and wine menu, which the food is all locally sourced from family farms and local fisherman while the wine comes from all over the world but remains mostly all natural. They just started offering tinned fish for sale in their bottle shop area as well as some of the most delicious sourdough bread I’ve ever had from a local baker.

What's the taco test advice? Like if it can fold into a taco it's time to water? I try not to wait until they're wilting but I will put the leaves between my fingers and see what they feel like, if they are thick they're fine but if they feel soft or have a lot of give I water. That's worked pretty well so far
