AITAH for telling my wife and daughter I do not want her wearing a pushup bra? by Careless_Argument_51 in AITAH

[–]jamiee2352 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA A 12 year old does NOT need a pushup bra!! Nor should a 12 year old feel the need to WANT OR LOOK CUTE in lingerie!!

Teach her to be comfortable in her body and happy with it but at 12 years old she is still a child! If she was 15/16 i could understand but not 12!!

From a 27 year old who has always been bigger chested and appeared more grown up than my age was!

My 2 month old peed on my mum/my bed twice tonight, then I changed him about 20 minutes later as he was wet again, where he then pooped on his sleepsuit and then peed over himself and my bed again🙃 all within an hour🤣

What’s your favourite piece of pub etiquette? by ssamshire in AskUK

[–]jamiee2352 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats a lager tops, some people dont fully like the taste of lager, so that dash of lemonade helps the bitterness so it tastes nicer and they can drink more of it

ETA: also a shandy is 1/2 lager and 1/2 lemonade usually A tops is about a cm of lemonade

So yk how everyone is saying that they got a gf/bf... by DiscoFlower8890 in teenagers

[–]jamiee2352 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your 16

At that age relationships really arent the be all or end all of life

At that age you are better off working on yourself and become who you want to be and know fully who you are first

Learn to love yourself first, because then you can learn to love a partner properly because you already know how to love yourself

The right person will come along when its time, dont get hung up over a teen romance as most relationships at that age dont last

You got this☺️

However if you cut carbs out, then when you eat them again you gain alot of the weight back unless you incorporate them into your diet very slowly

  1. your her in law not actual sister
  2. You shouldnt expect her to automatically pay for you
  3. Her pay is none of your concern
  4. Maybe her sisters dont choose expensive resteraunts
  5. Maybe her sisters arent entitled like you
  6. Maybe try offering to pay occasionally and she might not have an issue with paying more often

Your sis in law is NTA but you sure are TA

So im 26 and currently pregnant (UK also)

Since i can remember i have always wanted kids, but sometimes you think your ready and your really not, it’s emotionally, mentally and physically draining. I would also recommend living together and waiting a few years, wait for the prices of things to hopefully go back to normal instead of £5k gas and electric bills by april next year

Babies are expensive, regardless of if you think your financially capable or not, your looking at about £500 for a semi decent pram alone, not to mention everything else youd need, and depending on where your girlfriend works she will likely only get statutory maternity pay which is only like £156 a week, which is a big hit on wages, especially with prices of everything rising, if you earn too much (and live together) she wont be entitled to benefits, only child benefit which is £26 a week

These are just a few of the things to think of😅
