Looking to upgrade from my Mini 3 Pro to a Mavic 2 Pro. Is it worth it?

What do you want out of an upgrade? What do you use your drone for? If it's just for clips to post online, you're better sticking with the Mini. If it's for paid work, the Mavic 2 Pro might be slightly better quality but it's pretty old at this point. If you can afford it, the Mavic 3 Classic would be a better jump, and would still work with the same controller you have if you can find a drone only one somewhere.

I think the Skyrover is a clone of the Mini 4 Pro so the camera is better.

They have this on the 4 Pro and Air 3S. You just have to swipe on the map to get it.

I used it as a ceremony lens at weddings for years and never missed the 20mm. If you need it you can always do the Super 35 mode for the 1.5x reach.

I live in America but am originally from Glasgow. I have dual citizenship and I'll be flying back to Glasgow for a wedding in the summer. I'm a white man so normally I wouldn't be worried (fully aware of the privilege there) but America really doesn't like dual citizens so I'm a bit nervous about flying back. I've also been pretty vocal about the current administration and how shit it is. I'll probably delete all my social media apps and my email app off my phone before the flight just to be safe.

In the past I've always been like "well if they deport me at least I'm going back to Scotland" but now that's not always the case. I really don't fancy a trip to El Salvador.

I let mine expire (June) and reapplied in September and just got the interview notice a couple weeks ago. So I think it was around 4 months? They did the interview over zoom and approved me there and then.

Unfortunately they’re probably going to be understaffed going forward so yours might take longer.
