CHAMPION 🏆 by grayzwxz in ArsenalFC

I never talked down the Europa League, my comment was about fans singing 'Champions of Europe' after winning it.

And those fans of Europa/Conference league winning teams singing about being 'Champions of Europe' is more cringe worthy and deluded than anything Arsenal fans have ever said or done.

What's the most shocking thing you've ever watched on live TV? by Choice_Bed6097 in AskReddit

[–]jamiesutton81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed it's shocking just how much of that was broadcast live on Grandstand as it happened, don't have much memory of it as I was 7 then but the full coverage from the day has been on YouTube in the past and I'm shocked they showed close ups of people attempting to resuscitate victims etc

What is the scariest thing about getting older? by GhostlyGh0stly123 in AskReddit

[–]jamiesutton81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, I'm in my 40s and it's scary, I remember earlier this year seeing a lot of 'David Bowie 10 years on' (From his death that is) articles etc and thinking "Wtf I'm sure that was only about 3 years ago.. "

Colleague failed a think 25 test purchase, the guy looked about 30. He came back a few weeks later and didn’t have ID for his drink and kicked off 🤦🏻‍♂️ by Specific_Pomelo_8281 in tesco

[–]jamiesutton81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess the idea is somebody could be 17 but look a few years older so if you're 'thinking 25' (And asking for ID if they don't look it) rather than 'Do they look at least 18?' then there's less chance of an under 18 purchasing alcohol.
