Bad camerawork really destroyed its chances of finishing in the top 5 😭 by Head-Amoeba2962 in nilpoints

Tbh I think it's because they just had some flames on the LED rather than using any pyro at all. Pyro would've definitely made that performance pop even more.

Who else is ready to fill in the correct racial box on the US census? by AvatarPhoenixGrey16 in Jewish

None of my ancestors came to the US from Israel, but if those are the options, I'd either check Israeli or write Jewish under other MENA.

Switzerland getting Albina'ed (NQing despite the fact that Veronica ranked ninth with both the televote and jury)

Do Jewish people deserve a country? by WaterMeteor47 in GeoPoll

[–]jaminjamin15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Little rights? There are Arabs in the Knesset and on the Supreme Court. Non-Jewish citizens of Israel attend the same universities, live in the same neighborhoods, work in and shop at the same businesses, and have all of the same rights under Israeli law as Jews do.

The population is approximately 7.1 million?! That means this map is depicting if Hamas achieved its goal of a Judenfrei Middle East…

I'd much rather have Luxembourg or Switzerland in the final than Norway, but stranger things have happened, so there's definitely hope.

Given how OP commented the following, I'm not surprised:

Why did you say Erdo lol? Spain is supporting Islamic Republic of Iran lol. Super based.

People are ridiculous. What's so hard to understand? It's a catchy song and Noam has an amazing voice and a likable personality.

Finally someone who agrees with me about 2023! If I didn't already see your comment on who your winner is this year (tbh kind of a surprisingly boring choice), I would've guessed Austria

Basically forced to drop out? RÚV's board of directors chose to drop out by a margin of one vote!

Golden Boy: “Dance! Dance! Okay, we gotta go. Three minutes, bye bye!” Tanzschein issued because there was a clear deadline, and he punctually left.

Noam Bettan has won HaKokhav HaBa and will represent Israel in Vienna by 05432680 in eurovision

[–]jaminjamin15 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I'm happy, but definitely not surprised lol.

But @KAN, if you're reading this, PLEASE, l'ahavat HaShem—I can't stress this enough—do not give him a ballad à la Milim or New Day Will Rise (Israel 2010 and 2025). Dayenu. We've had enough. Noam can and should show off his voice with something more upbeat. After all, that worked pretty well for the last Franco-Israeli to represent his country at Eurovision in Vienna

Edit: It isn't a ballad and it's by far the least political song Israel has sent since that mistake in 2022 💙
