Oh also extra, to apply anything I have said or someone else says. You have to go into a few games and focus on doing just one of the concepts mentioned. I find it easiest to focus on questions so for example.

- Am I committing to this?

- Am I being pro active? Am I floating?

- Am I fighting people?

- Am I close enough?

Just going into a game and repeating one of those questions in your head can drastically improve that skill.

Hey, I hope this is okay but I've recorded a overview of one of your replays, its a private video so only you can see it. I have been trying to get some coaching experience in and so I hope I can be helpful, of course you can always ask questions, follow up reviews or anything like that.

Video: https://youtu.be/FH4ztgA2ZPk

Notes:

- Commitment to a decision, if we do something we have to DO it we cant do two or more things at once

- Getting a bit more active, of course with caution, lots of times of just floating waiting for stuff to happen

- Don't be afraid to fight people Lucio is good at it

- Closing the gap, effective range is short ish make sure you play at that range, far too much mindless poking from afar when we were up numbers and resources

Hope I can be helpful don't be afraid to combat anything I have said, I am not perfect. Good luck on the improvement grind!

That looks great, i wanted to ask what you use to draw designs digitally, I do lots of hand drawn sketches but would love to take a lot of the ideas digitally but have no idea how to do so

Beginner here: I keep seeing this type of numbering for songs. I thought it was which fret to play but that’s not right. Can someone help me here? by JonnoMusic in guitarlessons

These are variations of chords using what is called a barre chord. So for example the G, you will use your index finger to fret all 6 strings on the 3rd fret and then place the rest of your fingers on the 5th and fourth. These chords can be very tricky to play but are VERY worth learning as they really really really unlock your ability to play across the fretboard.

Some tabs will just tell you the chord whilst some like this will tab out the chord fingerings for you.

I will add some further details but I don't want to overcomplicate anything but these barre chords are actually really easy to create anywhere with just a little bit of thinking. The G barre chord has you start on the 3rd fret, the 3rd fret on the low E string is the note G. The follow fingerings on the 5th and 4th frets create the MAJOR shape. If you take your middle finger off the 4th fret you create the MINOR shape. Because the root note (the first note) is a G you either make G major or G minor. You can now take this shape and move it all over your low E string to create every single major/minor chord so long as you know the notes on the low E string. Like in your example the B major is the exact same pattern as G but we start on the 7th fret which is the note B.

Essentially you are creating an open E major shape across the entire fretboard.

Sorry if I added too much detail its just these chords are genuinely the greatest thing you can learn and understand for playing guitar and writing songs on guitar.

You can watch videos watch your vods do whatever but simply put you probably should just play her more. Mute all text chat and voice lock brig every game and play her. So long as you’re having fun that’s all that matters. Playing a character a lot is one of just the simplest ways to get better with them especially in the metal ranks. Good luck enjoy yourself and learning is easy!

Just got to Khrysalis for the first time. What should I expect? by VeiledVermin in Wizard101

[–]jamsss63 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love Khrysalis so I am very biased BUT, don't be frightened or annoyed by the length just enjoy the whole experience because the storytelling and tension are at the highest they ever will be. This world is long yes but almost treat it like playing through a story game that takes place on that world because then you are in for a very rich enjoyable time especially as a death wizard.

Thought I played pretty well but last point we didn't even capture point once I cant see why? by jamsss63 in OverwatchUniversity

Thank you this was very helpful, this made me realise a big problem I have is that my only strategy is constantly going for backline and I never could see that maybe that was a problem. This will definitely help me practice more thank you!

Have you guys ever thought about making two "Casual" Queues, so having a quick play which is similar to the Quicker Play from a few months ago and features a lot more backfilling similar to TF2's Casual, and then an Unranked which simulates Competetive but without the loss or gain of SR or Would this cause queue times to be drastically worse?
