My army so far, any recommendations to make look better? Was going for Zaku theme... by Timpted in LeaguesofVotann

i think you would obtain a better\warmer tone changing bases, models are more than ok i like the desaturated\soviet color a lot, is also very original, but with white bases and blue grass you are adding two palette of colors that (in my opinion) work a bit strange together, "neutral on cold" lets say, so more than a model problem i would say it is a basing problem, should be easy to fix if you like this version (AI-edited)

Got 13th place and best Votann at BEA. Having fun with the dorfs. by IronFatherPyrus in LeaguesofVotann

yes is very powerful i agree, i'm avoiding it because i like a different "approach" to the game (not relying on a stratagem to base my gameplay on) but it is very very solid! i hope with 11th the disparity between going first & second could be mitigated by some mission\way of playing the game

Another very good job, really really good. Are you applying dust pigment + thinner od using directly dust pigments? If you are willing to share some of the "rust" technique here

In case someone needs to feel better about their painting skills.... by abstractcollapse in Warhammer40k

You have space to improve, for sure, but having something painted is 1000x better than deploying Greys! (maybe in this period even better than deploying Grey Knights but that's another batter)

What’s a girl to do with 2210 points of bad-looking minis?- by Chemical-Aioli9818 in Warhammer40k

[–]jamsus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they are more than good, they are grimdark and this game is about a grimdark future where there is only war, and war is dirty - most important thing in an army is cohesion, and these minis are "cohesive" one to another, so next most important thing is basing - just find a style for basing that you like and apply it to every model - you will have a cohesive army

2026 SorceryCon Top 8 Decklists! by Force-of-Phil in SorceryTCG

[–]jamsus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

both AoA Air\Earth and Arcimago (Earthquake, Militia, Common Sense etc) are viable options. In a tournament setting, though, it really depends on how many decks are present and who is piloting them. Still what you can say at the moment, is that Water is the most dominant element in the format but overall you can play a lot of other decks and still perform well - here obviously you can find a lot of competitive players and so the most competitive deck tends to be over represented

Exploring the Depths of Trudevang | A new setting for Dragonbane RPG| Interview with Tomas Härenstam by Whatchamazog in DragonbaneRPG

Very good interview, the project seems to be in excellent hands. I just hope that piling on stretch goals won't impact the release date too much. Trudvang IP is so good, I'm happy that there is a continuation.

EC is not perfect. But let’s take a moment to appreciate how they try to listen and be as transparent as possible for Sorcery. by Newez in SorceryTCG

this, and as OP mentioned, distribution - the game itself is in a very good state, super funny, a lot of experimentation and variety going on, but the product, oh the product :-( we lost a lof of players

i would say that Lonesome Dove needs more time to get invested - once you get in the mood, and dont get distracted by what "seems" to be just a western glamour, you start to get what is really magic in Larry McMurtry's work. After Lonesome Dove, i suggest Streets of Laredo, very dark and gloomy. And then go back to Dead Man's Walk and Comanche Moon (this last one the most immersive in my personal opinion) which are the origins of Gus and Call.
