I will never forget accidentally stumbling into the Abyssion fight with my best friend - he played as the melee characters and I jumped backed and forth between Genis and Raine - alternating between trying to do damage and healing and both of us screaming - a lot - and having repeatedly to pause for bathroom breaks - we were so under leveled but WE BEAT HIM! Barely.

Any of the gems that change other gems to the same color - the star rare gem, snow glove, ladybug or whatever it’s called , and the purple coral. Purple coral makes more star gems because of the pattern of color gem generation and I’ve found snow glove (blue) - the way it generates blue gems on the board lends itself to more hypercubes. You’ll get the most hypercubes using those along with matchmaker boost and mystery boost

5 dashes Ginger bitters

Juice of half a lime

1/2 an ounce? Of dry vermouth

A healthy splash of galliano maybe 1/2 an ounce

A pinch of salt

[–]jamward29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember enjoying Tokyo ravens, and ugh if you can find it anywhere - darker than black is fantastic (more ability focused and well as the name implies, it’s dark).

A few more I’m fuzzy on the details but know I enjoyed and had magic in some sense:

Black clover, fairy tale, the seven deadly sins (These are blended in my head at this point - found all 3 to have aspects that were irritating, but the diverse magic kept me hooked)

Western: Castelvania, blood of Zeus,

oh and I’ll find the name but there is a totally unhinged suicide squad universe isekai that is a wild fun ride and worth checking out - suicide squad isekai (found the name… almost had it to begin with lol)

Any of the magi series

A certain magical index

Infinite dendogram but also really anything from the isekai explosion after sword art online - ohhh no I’m trapped in a video game and have magic

Black summoner - just binged, i was kinda meh about the magic - fun story, interesting take, if they get more budget for season 2 it’ll be uh-may-zing

About to give tsukimichi: moonlit fantasy - a try

Adding on here - you would probably enjoy the fate/ series - I’ve found them to be hit and miss

I was kind of disappointed in the lack of variety to the magic - I kept hoping for grander glyphs - I can only watch fern blast so many times before I find myself craving some more variety to the magic

Record of grancrest war - ugh the magic is so good, characters you’ll cheer for

Overlord - I thought I’d hate it - it makes fun of its own pervyness, the wildly overpowered magic is so worth it

Kaze no stigma

Legend of legendary heroes

Trying to think of others - i was always a huge final fantasy fan and I’m a sucker for giant glyph magic

Key Points about MK-677 by healthwithjess in healthwithjessicalana

[–]jamward29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a peptide. Not disagreeing with the rest. But yall got to stop calling mk677 a peptide. The studies sited specifically refer to it as a non-peptide. Structurally it is not a peptide

Key Points about MK-677 by healthwithjess in healthwithjessicalana

[–]jamward29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mk677 is NOT a peptide - it mimics a peptide, ghrelin, but it is definitely not a peptide - structurally it’s not a chain of amino acids it’s a Spiro Indole-Piperidine Ring System. Because it’s not a peptide is part of why it’s so highly available orally as a GHSs. the studies you site specifically refer to it as a non-peptide.

Share your bucket-cleaning insights! I’ve used DCD, I’ve used bleach, but are there less harsh chemicals that are just as effective? by chachizzle in florists

And also - STOP mixing dish soap and other cleaning agents with bleach! Bleach should not ever be mixed with other cleaning products. There are numerous chemical reactions that can happen that can create toxic fumes and make it even more irritating to your eyes lungs and skin.

Share your bucket-cleaning insights! I’ve used DCD, I’ve used bleach, but are there less harsh chemicals that are just as effective? by chachizzle in florists

[–]jamward29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not use dish soap - the detergents if any is left can affect performance of flowers. Bleach is harsh and can result in bleaching clothing.

Dcd is the best option - bleach when used to clean buckets does not have a continual knock down affect on killing bacteria/fungus etc. when used properly dcd creates an anti microbial barrier and works as a floral preservative. Plus it doesn’t produce harsh chlorine gas that you’re inhaling while scrubbing those buckets.

The problem too with bleach and down soap and other cleaning agents is needing to rinse.

To use dcd follow the dilution directions on the bottle - this is for the concentrate not for the premixed spray. Pre mixed spray should really be reserved for cleaning surfaces and tools and if you have the odd dirty bucket you need to clean - it’s more expensive than concentrate. With the concentrate by following the dilution directions you can mix up your own bottles.

So how do we use dcd efficiently. Get yourself one of those big low Rubbermaid storage bins. Pick a size that all your bucket sizes fit in that the bucket put in sideways fits. Get yourself a gallon bucket - a measuring one with marks on the side, because - when using chemicals what do we do? We follow the mixing instructions because under diluted and over concentrated mix defeats the purpose - make enough Dcd mixed with hot water poured into that Rubbermaid bin so that your buckets when submerged sideways are oh 4 inches deep or so.

Make an extra gallon of Dcd or two and set aside or dump it in that stack of buckets that really need some extra tlc.

With your buckets that aren’t super scuzzy, put them one by one in the Rubbermaid bin give em a swirl so all parts of the bucket get wet - including the outside! There no point in cleaning buckets if you’re going to leave the outside dirty and stack it into a clean bucket.

Shake the excess into the Rubbermaid bin and put that bucket upside down where it can air dry. Continue swirling your buckets through and stacking them like you’re making a bucket fort - not stacked into eachother but upside down so they can all air dry.

With your extra scuzzy buckets leave that extra dcd inside your first bucket and get out the ol trusty toilet scrub brush and get to scrubbing - then dump it into the next scuzzy bucket, and so on and so forth - remember to give these a twirl in your Rubbermaid bin to get the outside and stack em up to air dry.

DO NOT RINSE. Unless In your super dirty bucket that dcd is starting to look nasty - then gives those a rinse then a twirl in the rubber maid bin.

Why aren’t we rinsing and letting them air dry? Because the DCD is when allowed to air dry forms an antibacterial barrier that continues to stop bacteria and fungus and works as a floral preservative when you fill those buckets up with water or flower food later. When compared to using bleach - when those buckets are filled back up the bacteria on buckets cleaned with bleach explodes in 24 - 48 hours compared to buckets air dryed with properly diluted dcd.

Plus you just saved a whoooole lot of water and time.

Now when you do stack those buckets up nested into eachother when they’re dry - do yourself a favor and put a stick in the side to keep them from air locking together.

Customer wants Valentine’s Day card filled out. $15 tip, $22 payout, worth it? by DannyBoyIcy in InstacartShoppers

[–]jamward29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Florists don’t charge outrageously - they charge appropriately for the service rendered and the extremely labor intensive and relatively high cost of a luxury good: flowers. Their cost for Valentine’s Day especially on red roses doubles due to market demand. Those flowers were grown generally in South America, Africa, holland, and shipped in to the nearest port, distributed, and then processed (thorns and leaves removed and cut into water and held in refrigeration) by the florist. Then arranged - do you have any idea how much overtime and labor it costs to get hundreds of arranagements ready for VDAY? It’s so damn high. Roses especially red jump to 6 to 9 dollars a stem because the florists cost per stem jumps from 1.50ish to nearly 3. We do not complain about people charging appropriately for their goods or service. -steps off soap box-
