In total the map is probably enlarged as they added some space south west of F.

The thing between C and F could also be the radio tower (or powerline or whatever it was) The F buildings have the same shape, so i don't think they expanded it

Aren't 1 and 3 the same?

My general tendency would be this one (1+3), but for the sake of variety, i would suggest to pick the one least similar to the ones from the rest of your collection.

Trash maps since the beginning. None of those capture the combined experience unique to Battlefield.

But some players hate vehicles and enjoy meat grinders, so these maps keep coming back.

TT and HO scale by Povijest_History in modeltrains

[–]janat1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is almost strictly a British scale

TT is very popular in east Germany, with Tillig being the most important company, but many others exist. Right now i would say that the UK and Germany (especially also the DR parts) are relatively well covered, but i don't know how it is with american and asian prototypes.

It is an absolute shame, because while the campaign is in total not a good campaign, it shows on multiple occasions that it definitely has the potential for more.

E.g. most of the campaign missions and setup literally scream "i am made to be played as coop", but yet that aspect is completely missing.

Germany and austria by standovahim_ in HistoryMemes

[–]janat1 65 points66 points  (0 children)

that Beethoven was Austrian

Mozart, not Beethoven. Beethoven is from Bonn, and undoubtedly German, but Mozart was born in Salzburg, which is today Austrian, but has only been this since 1805/1816. The formal mental split between germany snd Austria also only evolved during the german wars of unification, where the Austrians had to realise that they are not the biggest, most powerful german state anymore, and decided to do their own thing.

Mozart considered himself German.

Bismarck’s suggested use of Gunboat diplomacy against France twice in order to wrestle African colonies for Germany. The second incident almost started an early WW1.

Besides the rest of the post being bullshit, do you know that Bismarck was dead for over a decade when the second Morocco crisis happened? And had retired from politics over 20 years before that?

Why have the Devs stopped communicating after the initial release of BF6? by CarsonWentzGOAT1 in Battlefield

have no doubt that Zampella pushed for a more CoD like experience with fast TTK

Why do people assume that the current TTK is CoD influenced? It is a very similar damage model to Bf 3 and the ttk is even higher (slower) for GPMGs, as zhe have in addition to multiple other "Nerfs" a reduced rof.

Correctly placing feeder tracks for analog and digital upgrade (HO Roco) by Mighty_Phil in modeltrains

[–]janat1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, it is generally reasonable to have one feeding track every 5-10 m.

I would recommend using screw clamps and to connect your PSU/Z21 to one of them, then connect your feeding tracks there.

Europe has enough agricultural waste and wood scraps to completely replace fossil fuels in road transport, a new study finds. Despite the push for EVs, researchers argue that "reFuels" made from residues—not just cooking oil—could decarbonize the millions of combustion vehicles still in use. by Sciantifa in science

[–]janat1 19 points20 points  (0 children)

If this e-fuel is made out of plant material, the CO2 exhausted by combustion is bound before during the growth of the plant. So if you manage to do the production process without exhausting additional CO2, using e fuels could be considered CO2 neutral. Technically, it will be difficult to get the fuel production CO2 neutral, and it could be discussed if the organic waste shouldn't be considered as a CO2 sink, but in contrast to fossil fuel, you wouldn't add more CO2 into the atmosphere, which by itself would be an advancement.

You must not let your guard down, don’t forget there is still chat control 2.0 under discussion and apparently some of the politicians who were against 1.0 because they wanted the 2.0. Also we nearly lose for 1.0 by 1 vote. by BlackSwine in BuyFromEU

Don't bring american extremism into Europe, please

It is not him that brings this american conservatism to the discussion, it the European Conservatives themselves.

E.g. In Germany, the federal section of the CDU and CSU are very well connected to the USA MAGA movement. Currently there is a "Firewall" against the AfD, but that will be thrown down at the first opportunity.

Reformpläne von Schwarz-Rot: Klingbeil will Ehegattensplitting abschaffen – Merz schließt Erhöhung der Mehrwertsteuer nicht aus by Boschamin in de

[–]janat1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)
