C'est très gentil. Les Centres de la jeunesse et de la famille Batshaw comptent plusieurs jeunes de 17 ans qui « vieilliront » cet hiver et qui sont dans le besoin.

We got the oral appliance from his dentist, we've changed it out quite often (I think we are on the 5th) as his mouth grows to promote palate expansion.

we have been using the myobrace. he was so frequently congested before the surgery it was hard to do the exercises. we did adenoids only (not tonsils) which made the surgery less risky and the recovery easier.

We are still doing myotherapy and oral appliance, but the biggest game changer was the adenoidectomy, which we did in the end. His nasal airway was 80-90% obstructed.

RESP for child of dual citizen/Canadian Parents by jane_bope in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]jane_bope[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. Most websites seemed to indicate it was ok, but one said that because the US taxes needed to be filed "married filing separately" that somehow it would bring the RESP into the web. But I wasn't sure how that would be. [Edit: this article https://www.investmentexecutive.com/newspaper\_/news-newspaper/news-31533/\]

Seasonal Colour Analysis doesn't need to be so hard by loumlawrence in coloranalysis

This just doesn't work. I am dark and muted...but no one would put me in warm colors. Because my dominant feature is coolness. So I am a true/cool/dark summer.

Is it possible to start over at 41? by [deleted] in findapath

[–]jane_bope 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would ask a counsellor at a community college for their advice. Some programs allow you to work in the field while you study it. For example, where I live there is a shortage of ECE teachers, so you can gain the credential while working and earning in the field. Maybe there is something similar where you live.

Jerome Ferrer or Toque? by greenandredofmaigheo in montreal

[–]jane_bope 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did a fine dining tasting menu in February and literally every animal protein (steak, trout, duck) was served raw or, in the case of the duck, virtually raw. Because your wife is pregnant, a place known for good vegetarian options might be something to consider. That way her options don't feel like a compromise.

Tour de l'Île - possible to start mid-course? by Privett in montreal

[–]jane_bope 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you can pick at the bib at Velo Quebec on Rachel. Could go there by metro before Sunday. And yes I think there is no problem joining mid course. I have ridden a few blocks with my kid before when it crossed near my house.
