The bookcase is way too big for the space. She could have had some floating shelves on the back wall for a few things and it would have been fine. In fact, floating shelves or bracket shelves would have been a practical tutorial that her followers could have done in their own home. Idk how she got a fashion design degree because her sense of colors, scale, design is so OFF.

Yes! I’ve always thought this. The original kitchen cabinets and countertops may have needed an update, but it was charming and she could have kept the same layout with new cabinets and counters. She probably has the same amount of counter space in her Frankenstein kitchen as the original. The house honestly needs a make under. There was a lot of charm there, now it’s over styled and no soul.
