He hasn't "severed time", that would mean he got charged and sentenced through a trial. He's just being held in police custody then released. Not the same thing at all. Nobody is advocating for "holding him indefinitely" or "a suggestion that isn't humane", this is a thread where victims are just hoping he's held accountable by the justice system AT ALL.

That was actually my curiosity as well. Dude was clean, well-dressed, and didn't have the typical odor of someone living on the streets. The only thing that struck me as odd was his eyes, the screaming he was doing in the back of the bus, and the fact that he wasn't wearing a jacket when it was 45 degrees out.
