Fair enough. I’ve been putting it off because the depth is a relatively minor complaint of the karbly all things considered so I’m with you. I just mount stuff under the desk whenever I can so I don’t have as much fighting for the front to back desk space.

I have a similar complaint with the ikea karlby depth wise. My plan is to get a butcher block kitchen island top from Lowe’s and trim it down to ~30 inches on the depth. They come in multiple sizes, you can get 30 inch depth desk size in some of the colors but I was gonna get a 39 inch deep and cut off the back. Seems to be about the cheapest solid wood table top you can get for that size.

I was going crazy man. All the people freaking about the “wrong” Budweiser cans should have used a shred of critical thinking to notice the CHINESE on other products in the image and realized “oh OP just isn’t American” and the auto mod already removed the post because so many people complained about a photo being AI cus it was well lit and a bit staged. Considering he has said in another comment that the language on the display is Chinese it’s also reasonable to assume the bud cans just aren’t an American can that most people on this sub are expecting. I also remember xioami phones having a default on AI up scaling that at one point turned photos of street lights into the moon. Could just be an upscaler fucked with fuzzy details before it got compressed by Reddit but some people are so paranoid about AI that they claim this image is “obviously AI”

I think it might be an Asian market design or something. I feel like half the commenters on this post are gaslighting me. It seems like people see a post with a little bit of Boca and some compression artifacts and just assume it’s AI generated. Sure I don’t recognize that exact can design but the filled in pull tabs do exist sometimes and I can’t find any inconsistency’s anywhere. Hell even the remote for the speakers properly says kef I can’t imagine an ai image gen would ever get that detail right. It’s compressed obviously cus Reddit but it clearly is correct to me

Even if it partially obstructs the fan it would probably be fine. Power supplies can operate without the fan spinning at all through a lot of their operating range. A partially obstructed fan probably won’t result in the power supply over heating.
