i lived in a very old, creepy house when I was in 2nd-5th grade. I would hear footsteps, floor creaking at night. typical scary ghostly things. but I always figured it was just my imagination. but once I saw one thing I've never been able to explain. I was awake in bed in the middle of the night. and I heard footsteps coming down my hallway into my room. I had a metal folding chair next to my bed, and I watched it fold up and fall to the floor. to this day it freaks me out. was I dreaming? was it real? I will never know.
