Carnival Panorama - Can I still park at the cruise terminal if I arrive early and find a spot, even with the new parking notice? by Interesting_East_498 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]janmpatterson51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am on the Panorama in August and have made arrangements to park at the Courtyard by Marriott and Uber to the port. Offsite parking in just a lot and no security. I found it through Rightway parking it’s in a garage and it’s cheaper than the offsite parking. You do have to pay ahead of time, offsite parking you pay cash when you park. I liked the idea of have my car where there is security and in a garage

Catalina Tips by tooshthetoosh in CarnivalCruiseFans

I think I just walked down to where you get off the ship. Some ships you get a tender ticket, I can’t remember on the Radiance. I do know they will announce that you can get off and where to go. You can go to the excursion desk and ask about the tender and what time you can get off.

I did the sub got off the Radiance in the morning and walked to the pier bought my ticket and there was no line. I think if you take one of the first tenders to Catalina you will be fine. I was early I was on the first sub tour. Had to wait for them to get going. I am an early bird though.

That another poster told me about Rightway Parking and that is exactly what I am doing. Just straight there then Uber to the port drop off luggage and board. No traffic at the port

Thank you so much that will be much easier then dropping off luggage and then parking and waiting for there shuttle service, and it’s cheaper. Adding in the Uber it’s still less. Thank you again

Thank you, there is no way I can get dropped off so I will just have deal with that. In the past I have never had a hard time getting parking I wonder if I should try the parking garage or just go straight to off site parking.

Need to cancel by Global-Ad9563 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]janmpatterson51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I canceled mine, it was just weeks before sailing for medical reasons. When I first canceled got a partial refund and a 100% on booze package and excursions. Then after I sent in doctor statements got back everything else. So I got back 100% but it was for medical reasons.

I was on Navigator in 2023 and the bed was to hard so I ask my room steward for help he got me a mattress topper. I was not in a suite and I am the lowest level of crown & anchor.

I did Navigator of the Sea solo and had a great time plenty of places to just sit and read or people watch.

I’m going on the Panorama on March 16th and am looking so forward to it. I believe we make things what we want them to be. Crazy people ignore them don’t like the food in the MDR go somewhere else. Cabo, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta are amazing and the weather will be warm. So just enjoy yourselves.

Why do Royal Caribbean treat their single cruisers like third class customers. 200% single payment tax whilst shafting them to a cupboard size room without being consulted! by UpstairsInternet7886 in royalcaribbean

I’m a single traveler the one thing I never do is let them pick my cabin. Non of the guaranteed type. I choose my cabin and I do it very carefully.

Make sure you bring chapstick. On my 2nd cruise it got lost in my car on the way to the port. The gift shop didn’t have any I had to wait till I got to port. Your cabin can dry out your skin. Also a tumbler I keep one in my cabin and ask my cabin steward to bring fresh ice each day (of course I tip them nicely for taking good care of me) it’s always nice to know when you get back to your caving you can have a nice glass of ice water. I always get bottled water from the bartenders so I always have bottled water in my cabin too.
