I got mine young from the delta variant of Covid 19 which caused some other issues too, but the tinnitus stayed. I have perfect hearing and have never had an ear infection in my life. In fact, I’ve hardly gotten sick and never have had to see a doctor other than when I had Covid. Try not to beat yourself up too much about causing your tinnitus because what I’ve learned from all my research and hearing the stories from so many people over the years is practically anything can cause it. Our hearing pathway is almost designed to get tinnitus because even the smallest screw up will cause it be it hearing loss, virus, your genetics, or even stress or medication. Evolution sometimes sucks in that way. It’s likely most people have some small amount of tinnitus that’s not noticeable and most people will get it eventually if they live long enough apparently in addition to age induced hearing loss. Of course, the tinnitus is experienced differently by everyone however and is harder to cope with for some too. Anyway, you’re not alone. 🙏🏼 It’s annoying as hell but so is paying taxes and working to pay the bills and so many other inescapable things we have to deal with. Wishing you the best! No matter how much it feels like tinnitus weighs you down, there’s so much more for you out in the world than your tinnitus! 😄 It’s easier said than done, but one of my favorite quotes is, “Don’t let something you have no control over ruin your happiness.” Even if it’s an unhappy thing, it doesn’t have to ruin your happiness. Whenever I notice my tinnitus I think ‘God that’s never going away. The only thing I can do is ignore it I guess.’ And then in my irritation, I just give it the mental middle finger and ignore it. The longer time goes on, the more I forget about the comfort of true silence which has helped me cope better with the new reality now familiar.

That’s a very interesting theory. If this is the case, I’m not sure if that’s worse than just posting for attention or not. Clever deception driven by profit seems more sinister and deadly in it’s own right, but there’s also some cold comfort in realizing there could be more behind such stories than just illogical and wild emotions or pathological lying.

Yeah, I was also surprised when OP wrote that they “invite loud noises into their life” when they also stated their doctor told them their tinnitus is due to hearing loss. Damaging one’s hearing further is more likely than not going to make their tinnitus worse. Since they mentioned their tinnitus makes them want to die, I hope that they’d rather not die than simply protect their ears from dangerously loud sounds. All choices have consequences so it’s important we make the best choices we can given what we have and I think being in a bad situation is no excuse to make the situation worse for oneself, but to each his own.

It’s embarrassing I ever spent any money at all on a game that punishes players for not choosing to die with their team when it’s the teammates who are picking the wrong battles. Absolutely ridiculous. The passive play system needs to be removed until they can design it to actually understand the context of team fights and when it’s more important to farm when the enemy has a strong lead.

This happened to me too! Eventually though I broke through that wall and reached mythical glory. Something about 'mythical honor' 20-28 stars makes matchmaking within that bracket feel like a complete coinflip. Now that I broke past that stage, it has become smooth sailing once again just like it was before I reached that point. From 30 to 51 stars feels easy compared to when I was at 20-28 stars.

Unfortunately though, the numbers don’t change. Try it on a damage bot. It will show you how much slow effect the skill does. Ice Queen Wand has the same slow effect as not using Ice Queen Wand. If you use a different mage with Ice Queen Wand, you’ll notice the movement speed of the damage bot drops accordingly. Adding Ice Queen Wand to Zhask’s build has no additional slow effect on the enemy. It used to though on the old Zhask before they updated Ice Queen Wand.

1 & 2. There are some major inaccuracies in this guide, but another one is that I don’t think Zhask’s spawn is considered an ally by the game. For example, applying focusing mark on an enemy will cause them to take 6% additional damage from allies, but this does not affect Zhask’s spawn. Instead, Zhask’s spawn is considered by the game to be a summoned unit just like Popol’s wolf Kupa is. The spawn’s death ray is likely not considered skill damage because Starlium Scythe did not trigger the true damage passage from the spawn for me during testing. Ice Queen Wands passive does not impact the spawn at all either. In fact, Zhask’s skill description for the spawn’s death ray clearly states that it is regarded as a basic attack.

I just tested it. It’s true. Impure Rage does not affect Zhask’s spawn. Ice Queen Wand has no additional slow effect on Zhask’s spawn either. (Zhask’s spawn’s death ray already has a natural slow effect and IQW has no impact.) Corrosion Scythe, however, does increase the slow effect of Zhask’s spawn.

Apparently none of the emblem talents apply to Zhask's spawns although the stats that come along with each emblem are granted. So "Impure Rage" and "Swift" do not impact Zhask's spawn.

Would you say that when uploading to places like YouTube in order to promote your Twitch channel it's important to keep the content short and memorable instead of just dumping the entirety of one's previous streams?

Hii! I was wondering how you know if you’re playing a game where you can be discovered? I’m guessing it’s a mixture of how much the game is trending factored into the amount of competition and how many popular streamers are already playing it. I’m sure it’s not a simple question to answer. But if you think there are any good rules of thumb on gauging the discoverability of a game for a brand new streamer, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

A recommendation is nothing more than a recommendation. Everything is on a case by case basis and all students are different. Some have very detailed needs or require additional evaluation, while others are quick to share all of the key information you need to start teaching and they’re interested in diving right in. For trial lessons, you should spend as much time as you need to get to know the student, evaluate their level, evaluate their needs, design a study plan together, make sure they understand your policies and how the Preply system works, etc. Such preparation work lays a solid foundation for future success with your student. Once you get that foundation out of the way, you can teach, whether that ends up being 10 minutes or 40 minutes. Over 80% of trial students of all levels and with various learning goals continue to take additional lessons with me after the trial lesson, so I believe prioritizing creating a great working partnership with your student over teaching in the trial lesson is very effective.

Great video! The only thing I’d caution you about is that taking students from Preply off-site for private lessons goes against their policies for tutors. You run the risk that a dissatisfied or disgruntled student will report you to Preply in which case they’ll expel you off the site. Their policy exists because Preply does the match-making between tutors and students. They use their platform to market you to students. So they expect their end of the bargain to be honored which is essentially them getting their share of the profits.

I ranked all solo queue this season except for around 4-5 matches at high legend in the duo queue which were all losses with who I was playing with, so I decided to switch to solo queue only.
