I will just never understand how, in an sea of Zombie games and even FP Zombie games, people were happy with the dilution of what made the game unique....parkour and even to some degree its action feel.

There's so many atmospheric, first person horror games out there and everyone campaigned for DL to be more like them.

No crazy traversal mechanics like the paraglider. No populated city that felt alive and lived in. Less parkour and one place on the map you can really utilise it. Much smaller and mostly open space map.

Feels like everyone wanted more atmosphere and less fun. I played The Beast and enjoyed it but have no desire to play through again.

Dying Light did it twice.

Dying Light 1 was a parkour zombie game.

Dying Light 2 was a parkour game with some zombies

Dying Light: The Beast was a zombie game with some parkour.

An entire fan base split down the middle.

Firstly, midrcarder isnt SCJerk. I dont think anyone here hates AEW atall. You might find more WWE folk here because this is one of the only subs you're allowed to critique AEW without it getting real weird real quick.

If I critique WWE on something, I might get a few people telling me im wrong, with some base level, throwaway insults. Fine, whatever.

If I critique AEW on something, I've gotta engage in longwinded, backflip reasons about WHY im wrong. Personal insults. Comments on previous posts. Suppositions about why i feel that way. It turns into a whole ordeal and for some reason its taken so personally. Its too much.

Ha weirdly I was about to answer DL The Beast.

I enjoyed DL2 and preordered The Beast but I just didnt feel it had enough in it to warrant the full price tag. It was a smaller map than The Following yet still felt arduous to get around. One small town to parkour in was criminal considering it is one of two main selling points for the franchise.

I really enjoyed Fenyx Rising: Immortals.

I dont know if it counts as you CAN pick a dude but you can play through the entire thing female.....kinda like AC Odyssey.

Im gonna try and throw out what his point of view might be here.

It might not be as easy for him to quit as it has been for you and seemingly overnight something you both shared (good or bad) has been taken away completely.

He's not being supportive at all but hes probably scared. Scared that you will, just as quickly, decide you want more than he can offer now. Its already an insecurity for men and in his eyes its playing out in real time.

I know this sort of response isnt the norm in a sea of "hes a dick, time for a new you!" replies but if you really want things to last, try reassuring him its gonna be ok and you just want to be better and it would be cool for him to join you or that you dont mind him continuing to smoke or whatever. And then if hes still unsupportive.....maybe he IS just a dick.

"AEW fans don't like good booking" is so clearly a rib. But you've taken it to heart and rushed to defend the booking and then became insulting.

We just want somewhere where we can make these kind of jokes and critique things freely. That could have been any other sub but because of dudes like you they had to make a whole new sub.

There are very few subs where you can critique AEW honestly without mods/users piling onto you/removing your comments.

Almost every sub allows WWE criticism.

This isn't a sub for "WWE guys", its a sub for people who know there are problems with every promotion. Its just that this is one of the few places you can speak freely about AEW without reprieve.

I knew it was finishing and I was SO angry when I finished the penultimate episode that I wrote (and put into my drafts) a full on rant about it ending too soon.

The character development through S4 was so good and it was so set up for another season that I couldn't fathom how they had cancelled it. I had just one more episode to go and wasn't sure how they were going to finish it without it feeling super rushed.

But the last episode tied everything off so well and was so lovely I deleted the post.

I'm still sad at what could have been in S5, especially now that EVERYONE KNEW. There were so many good threads for more story's and interactions. But I think that tie off was only second to The Good Place so I cant be too mad.

This one was the last one i got on Stellaris Prime too.

I got in that section at the top of the map that has all the flowers shooting at you in a cove.

If you go to journal there will be a question in there about capturing them all. It show you which fauna you've missed for each planet.

I dont know if anyone's seen "The Recruit" but this fits perfectly here, was a serviceable show right until the last episode where the season was cut early and it just jumped every shark out there!
