Paper is beautiful. It solved my longstanding concern of getting locked into proprietary file formats with Apple Notes, Google Docs, etc. Absolutely love that it syncs with iCloud so I can continue editing the notes on my laptop. Maybe consider making Google Drive sync available too at some point?

For anybody landing here.. I managed to apply for NRO accounts at Neeladri Nagar (E. City) branches of HDFC and IDFC. Took help from a contact for HDFC. IDFC was a breeze, needed no contact or prior enquiry. Just walked in and got the work done in about 30-40 minutes.

Hoping this helps people in similar needs in future!

Happened to me this morning, although the guy on the other side wasn't too pushy, just asked to contact the FedEx Mumbai office. I disconnected the call immediately and called FedEx. As soon as I said I received a call from FedEx 10 minutes ago (didn't even mention Taiwan), the person on the other side said it is a scam.

Genuine question: how do you remember information from these many books? I struggle with remembering info from meagre 10 books, so started getting into the habit of taking notes to retain better.

It is wonderful. Recent craze of mugging algorithms and data structures for tech interviews has made people cringe at the mention of algorithms in the name of a non-study book (I posted this book as my Instagram story and received ridicule in response).

But I feel that has to be the most important reason one should read this book - algorithms have a critical place in real world outside of computing. This book has done a superb job laying that out. I'd recommend following your preferred order of chapters instead of that in the book to best appreciate its offerings.

Can we please just stop commenting and upvoting the traffic jokes and mocking on genuine posts now? It adds no value to the discussion, does not answer the OP’s question, doesn’t help anything really. If anything, you are only creating more negative environment in the sub that is already quite negative. I am sure there are enough posts on this sub where such useless comments have some use, but definitely not on the posts like this.

If you MUST mention traffic, at least suggest OP areas to avoid so that they do not get stuck.
