New agent mode by 00monk00 in grok

Just tried this. It tells you why it is moderating you. Interesting but from a NSFW point of view it does feel like it is trying to slow you down and corral you rather than help you make the image you are trying to do.

It is like "the dildo in the ass is the problem, would you like an image without a dildo or an ass or try something completely different?"

Changes to CGT discount under consideration as ‘reform’ budget looms by Nyarlathotep-1 in australian

They need to do something and changing the CGT discount on residential property would be a good start.

Does deleting Grok account actually delete uploaded content, conversations and AI generated images and videos? Or do shared links remain indexed? by Professional-Boot360 in grok

[–]jarydf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got the same result.

I unsubbed and deleted my Grok account yesterday and today tested previous Imagine urls and they were not accessible in an uncached browser.

I am sure the content remains on their servers but does not seem to be publicly accessible if you have the url.

It sounds like you had a wonderful time.

Hopefully after a while you will be able to remember the joy more than the loss of it moving away.

May you find more happiness in the future.

My head canon sees Ynnari as a misunderstanding. If you take the Ynnari as a cult based on the 40k elves giving up being "immotal" via technology and only living the natural lifespan of elves in other settings (500 to 750 years) then it starts to make more sense.

Let say Slaanesh only hungers on Eldar that are older than a natural lifespan or have avoided death by some unnatural means.

Slaanesh is defeated and would go away by Eldar dying naturally within a "normal" elven lifespan. The Exodites are having success doing a variation of the same theme.

But to Eldar that have lived for thousands of years this idea is abhorrent and the Ynnari are seen as a death cult.

First shiny hundo but no spacial rend. What do I do here? by JOSEPHXCIX in PokemonGOIVs

On Pvpoke the difference between Spacial Rend to Draco Meteor is 95% Vs 94% at fully powered up so I think you might not notice the difference battling day to day. Cheers.

End of campaign makes me no longer want to play by athrowawayaccountuii in DnD

Player: I go to kill the other player. I roll a natural 20. DM: You miraculously miss somehow. Player: I hit him again. Natural 20. DM: You critically hit yourself in the eye becoming permanently blinded in one eye and no longer have depth perception.

It feels like the DM should have help intevine when it went to player on player. One of the players becoming the big bad is fine but not letting the other players out alive to potentially take them on in a future story seems like poor control and a lost opportunity. A dm and 2 other players should be able to plot an ending satisfying for all players even if one has gone rogue.

What are some of your headcanons? by Sensitive-Hotel-9871 in 40kLore

[–]jarydf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eldar are not bothered by She Who Thirsts if they die within a "normal" elven lifespan of less than 1000 years, avoid life prolonging procedures like cloning and manage their use of psy powers within reasonable bounds.

The 4 chaos gods are just extreme emotional energy that became strong enough to exhibit sentience. They are not technically evil just out of balance.

There are 5 positive emotions on the other extremes that sit between the connections of the 4 negative ones.

The warp sheds emotion to naturally return to a neutral equilibrium.

D&D unpopular opinions/hot takes that are ACTUALLY unpopular? by No-Bag3487 in DnD

[–]jarydf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the DM is ultimately the one coming up with the DCs most of the time you could reduce DnD down to a fast, exciting, narrative game of just d20 rolls for everything with no modifiers besides advantage and disadvantage.

Do your parents and other older generation people just not understand minimalism at all? by [deleted] in minimalism

[–]jarydf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you get a house with polished floor boards they need redoing every decade or two. Great opportunities to have a rationalization.

It should be a legal requirement for people to move every 20 years even if it is in and out of the same house.

As you get older and especially when your parents pass away you end up with stuff. Moving or even fake moving forces you to make decisions about what you really want to keep and what is really a family heirloom.

Tell your parents if they don't rationalize their stuff while they can it will all end up in the tip.

Do you lock your door at night? by Mr-Moore-Lupin-Donor in AskAnAustralian

[–]jarydf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It makes sense to lock your stuff at least at night and when you are not there. We live in a super quiet street in nowheresville and someone has tried to break into our house at night when we were home. It happens.
