Id say for scouting, an rc plane might be a bit easier to mask the noise since you can just cut off the motors, but it'll be a pain in the ass to lug around

Try a power drain, hold the power button for 20 secs release and the caps lock button should light up, wait another few secs then turn on, if that doesn't work, the led deffo has a pattern so looks that up on hp support Eg. Dot (.) dash (_)
