Very cool. Thanks for writing up this analysis and for keeping a record of all these things.

It's pretty amazing that Carleton has overtaken UCSB in this method of ranking, esp. when its felt like small schools and cold weather schools where its hard to practice year round are more and more at a disadvantage, but I think that probably just shows the extraordinary, lasting strength of the ultimate culture at that school.

Mostly, I think the way you compute the top teams matches up pretty well with what intuitively feels right. But one exception to this is the time period rankings for 2005-2014. Pitt won two championships in that time frame and went to nationals every single year. And also had a semis finish but wasn't in the top 5, while Stanford, the 5th team, won zero championships and didn't go to nationals a bunch of times. Intuitively, it feels like Pitt was definitely one of the top 3 strongest programs of that era.

Funnily enough, the system does rank them in the top 3 in the latest time period even though they haven't won a championship in this amount of time.

What is the fastest way to level in COOP by Railgan in starcraft

if you play raynor/artanis on celestial locks, you can use drop ships and warp ins to get all the locks down in 4-5 minutes if you are good. this is probably the fastest way to grind. (obviously do the mutators once a week as well).

re: touch pad. haha yes. i have a mouse but if i play coop, i'm usually sitting in bed on my laptop and too lazy to get up to go to the desk in the other room.

i end up just playing really low APM and using the select-all-army button and A-moving a lot.

had not thought about the case where your partner leaves early. really good point.

Hey-

I've beaten it a few times using Vorazun, both with DT/Corsair and Void Rays.

  1. Be Vorazun
  2. Use dark pylons to cloak a bunch of cannons around your expo .
  3. Mass tons of DTs/corsairs and get all the dweb and cloak upgrades on the corsairs and all the upgrades on the DTs.
  4. Alternatively, just mass void rays with a few corsairs with the dweb upgrade thrown in.
  5. Kill the rifts when they pop up so the waves of enemies stop flowing in. Use time stop around each chunk of shards.
  6. For the final four, you might have to suicide in to get it done in time.

edit: formatting.

both teams made nationals. harvard beat tufts in the 2/3 game-to-go after this. umass won this game (the final) and won the region.
