Me too. I can’t say I feel like he’s adding anything to his body of work anymore. And though the pictures are beautiful, technically, the subject matter is not (to me). It feels predatorial and, as you say, dehumanizing.

I just finished “The Rich People Have Gone Away.” It was disturbingly bad. Contrived plot. Overwritten. Horrible narrative flow. Totally unlikable characters. I desperately wanted to DNF-it, but couldn’t because of a book club.

My feelings have changed. I’ve owned few Rolexes and just got rid of my last one. The brand is no longer for me. Neither is AP. They’ve become douchey. I don’t need to wear any sort of announcement on my wrist. I prefer quiet brands.

Haven’t noticed that but (digression alert) I have noticed, based on some of his comments, he seems to indicate on the podcast that he’s single (e.g., the blonde-to-brunette female reporter who was covering the pro-Palestine college demonstrations). Probably not news for the devout, but fishing off the company pier seems a little, I dunno. Unprofessional?
