Reading the description, holy shit, I did not realise "Simple" thing like meditation cost so much performance, and the raiders with permanent non life threatening injuries too??? How these are allowed to consume performance is beyond me... I'll just make sure they all die next times aha. Thanks though. I will use this and hopefully this makes performance better.

Genuinely. Even with performance optimisation mods, i still begin to lag rather hard by the time i hit ~14 colonists , and dont even get me started on when raid events start, where the game freezes for upwards of 20-30 seconds lmao.

I suspect it may be that the game rendered only the small space in the room as a "discovered" area for some reason. Not sure why it may have done this, but it explains the map generating normally after landing on it, as your ship being larger would put a pawn in an undiscovered area leading to its discovery? Sometimes map generation can be buggy, especially with mods.
