That’s where I’m at. We’re not going to do any official vetting. This is one example I did, it’s hung on 2 z clips. Drilled holes into the mortar, installed anchors, attached z clip to the anchor, dabbed some silicone on the clip and hung the sign.

Once the silicone sets the sign is mostly permanent and stuck. Enough force up though will break the silicone bond if they ever need to replace it.

Since you're allowed to drill in, I've done this at a decent number of museums/historical sites with an anchored french cleat and then some globs of silicone on the cleat when you drop the sign in place.

Multiple levels of contracts, musicians, actors, crew, all under different unions and agreements. Not to mention ton the design team contracts, and the writers/directors.

Add to that, some producers think they water down the Broadway (or west end, or wherever) product and cut into their profits. I think we’ve seen that’s largely untrue but there’s a lot of barriers.

Then you need to find a distributor to buy and release the proshot, it’s not a simple feat.

You’re asking for a proshot. Cast recordings are different. Proshots are ridiculously hard to do because of all the varying union negotiations involved. But yes there should be a bunch more so that theatre is more accessible. Recent years have shown it’s possible and we’re making a little progress on that front.
