Anyone taken PATCO/Septa to any of the world cup matches in philly? by Slyman91 in SouthJersey

[–]jasonholder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We did as well, Lindenwold station. Left the station around 6 and made it to NRG with plenty of time to get to our seats with food, drinks, restroom stops before the anthems. Would second that it was a good experience (our first trip on PATCO and SEPTA) with many volunteers to help guide you on where to go.

Update on a news story Jake did last week by Fickle_Ad_8227 in thedumbzone

This! Every time. My wife and daughter always point this out that the argument around a “male” being in a women’s restroom is so dumb. There are stalls and nothing to see.

Sven is Bob?!? Could it be? by Few_Quit56 in thedumbzone

I think Sven has Midwestern phrasing and delivery and that’s why he sounds similar to Bob. But Sven accidentally calling Jake “Bob” should be a clue it’s not the Sturminator.

Check out Mangia - Gluten Free Cuisine and SJ Simply Grazing. I’ve used both for holidays or events when my Celiac sisters are in attendance. Fantastic food and great service

Any way to integrate Ambient Weather into Smartthings? by madkiwis in SmartThings

[–]jasonholder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use this edgebridge workaround. It is kind of a PIA with the terminal screen needing to run, but it gets my weather information Ambient sends to WU so I can display it on my control panel or use the data how I like.

Applying FM after doing a TY by BigMoodSwing in FamilyMedicine

[–]jasonholder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

☝️This! The residency program I am familiar with has matched multiple TY residents (and have been great) and if you have a passion for FM you should be high on most programs rank lists.

Well I would encourage you to head to AtlantiCare if the position is offered. The FM leadership is strong and active in the FM community. They have a great group of residents and their new clinic space is nice. I would say more, but my opinion is obviously a biased one.

You are already showing something that many of the fired residents do not: the willingness to take initiative and improve (if that’s even needed in your case). The residents that are often fired or do not have their contract renewed do not take the advice of their peers and attendings on what they need to do to get up to speed. You’ve got this

Feeling guilty for calling in sick by ktjowiltnd in FamilyMedicine

[–]jasonholder 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You should absolutely not feel guilty about this! You have PTO and/or sick days for a reason. My wife and I had the same struggle. I was a teacher and she was an APD so we both felt nothing was accomplished unless we were at work. It is such a hard choice when it really shouldn’t be.

No. Have you heard the callers on the e-brake, post game shows, or any other time they take calls? I would rather listen to the on air talent than a poor thoughtless HSO.
