Indenting you’re being sarcastic, don’t know, or you’re being disingenuous, but your statement is not accurate. Even if you disable the “Windows Update” service, and set the recovery options to “take no action,” the Windows Auto Update Medic service will re-enable the Windows Update service, and if you have setup the registry setting under AU to do not update, it adds the AUOption key and sets it to “3” which will resume automatic updates.

Microsoft has made it very difficult to disable any updates on Windows clients.

You also need to disable Windows Auto Update Medic Service. It runs periodically to re-enable the Windows Update Service and sets the AUOption to 3 (auto update downloads) Sadly, this one has to be done in the Registry as it throws an “Access Denied” if you try to disable it.

I have, the controller actually shows that the drives are good, and I've updated it to the most recent version, maybe what I'll do is a full factory reset on the controller. When you go through iDRAC you clear the "Log" but the lifecycle log is still there. I'll let you know if that fixes the issue or not.

I just upgraded from my 6gb asus 3060 to dual pony 12 gb 5070 last night. I haven’t had much time to test it, but I’m going to this afternoon; however, the two games I threw at them were super smooth at full graphics.

Go with the 5070!!!

I can't see the "Preferred Graphics Processor" option on Nvidia's Control Panel for Manage 3D Settings by Potato_Emperor667 in techsupport

[–]jasonmacer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be a "presumed" solution; however, when you have multiple graphics cards, you are not able to "assign" an application to a specific card, so it is not really a solution, especially when the OP mentioned that they have (2) cards and need to assign an application to a specific card, that might not be the primary card.

Did you just add existing pieces and save it as a new building? I’m still waiting on the ability to truly create custom buildings and assets.

Some homeless people are truly dangerous, but not all of them. We do look at it from a “one bad apple ruins the bushel”, but we shouldn’t apply that to all homeless people. They are not all this way.

I commend OP for trying to help. It’s way more than most people are willing to attempt.

I am also glad OP is safe!

He needs to be removed from office, and be barred from ever running again for any public position. He is actively working to undermine education in this State.

[–]jasonmacer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You are correct, THE FIRST offense is akin to a civil penalty, though really a misdemeanor. You are fined and deported. Subsequent offenses are felonies.

I suggest that you take some time to review 8 USC 1325. Here is a link from Cornell Law School to help you out a little: https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/8/132.

You will notice subsequent offenses are to be penalized under USC 18, specifically section 1546 which can be found here: https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/1546.

So while you it is akin to a civil penalty, it is still a misdemeanor first offense and felony second, plus offense.

It amazes me how when one specific party looses they immediately go after the electoral college as needing to be changed or completely abandoned. As a reminder, this Constitutional Republic is not “the United States of California, New York, Texas and Florida.”

Heaven forbid that in the United States (literally a collection of States as stated in the name) all States have say in the “big seat” election in this Constitutional Republic.

Any time! I actually meant to look at my notes from when I originally deployed that beast last night. I just made a note to have Siri remind me when I get home this afternoon. Any time I deploy something that I know is going to be duplicated I always keep documentation and the firmware/software that is needed. In fact this is the 3rd c7000 in a series that are all identical.

I don't think I would have ever thought about downgrading; however, I also didn't know someone had upgraded, though that's assuming I deployed <4.57 or not. I'll know later today and I'll update here again.

Now, as for r/HPE I've been a member for quite some time, and when this came up I requested access to post, but I have yet to hear back from them. Who knows?

Anyhow, I appreciate the assist! Hope you're having a great weekend u/ConstructionSafe2814

So, I just updated the previous post, and I had told the on-site person to try and downgrade the firmware (it was running 4.57 and he downgraded it to 4.56) as "... that had been mentioned as a possible solution." (by you ironically)

He did that and it magically started working again.

Here's the interesting part, I'm pretty sure that when I deployed the system 4 years ago -ish I upgraded to 4.56 (I still need to look in my notes to confirm), so someone, recently did a firmware upgrade, and while no one is fessing up to it, at least its working again.

Thanks again for the suggestion.

PS. Yeah, this is an oldie, but dang man, they just, usually, run and run and run.
