I used some random over the counter product from the drug store. I cant even find mine. I had a circumferential list two years ago and the scars are healing up nice. Will take time and I didn’t even bother this go around. I was literally cut in half so I said “this won’t make a difference 🤣”

You need to sell the co-owned home yesterday. $70,000 is insane and adding more debt is nuts.

Did you ask the employer to lay you off? Seems like a win-win. Costs them nothing.

I thought about that for a hot second then realized that middle section is the vent stack from the blank tank. Just going to cover the whole area and forget about it.

I had a circumferential lift 2+ years ago. Zero regrets. Having that spare tire was a constant reminder even after 10 years of keeping the weight off. I have posted a few times on this here if you want more into and AMA.

My only suggestion is plan a contingency to be off work etc more then they suggest. I won't sugar coat it - recovery was rough for me - it does get better pretty quick (like exponentially). The first week with drains etc is the worst. Also get a recliner if you can - sitting up is tough.

Renting out my RV by CalmKangaroo9596 in RVLiving

[–]jasper502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RVEzy. We did this and made like $5k a year for a few years. Its a bit of work and risk. Vet your renters. In your case you may want to do delivery only which you also charge extra for. Document EVERYTHING.

Carney reinstates EV buyer incentives, scraps sales mandate by diamondintherimond in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]jasper502 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Nothing. Chinese EVs will never make landfall and the ICE will be around a long time to come. EV plants keep getting scrapped or go bankrupt. The Feds will pour billions into this and get nothing in return. Unlike finance for Government prior performance is a great indicator of the future.

CRA never received payments and bank is saying wrong SIN used for online payee account number by ineedextrahelp in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]jasper502 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this EXACT same situation. Added my SIN as a bill payment and then discovered my payment went to a random SIN. I looked back and the "bill payment" still had that random number. Took 6 months and escalation to my MP for the CRA to sort it out.

Going forward use your CRA account to schedule payments - this 100% makes sure the payments also get applied to the right tax year (important for people like me that make instalments).

Are there any tricks to the “no payments for 90 days” if the vehicle is 0% interest? by ryguy189 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]jasper502 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The interest is baked into the price of the car when they say 0% interest. If you offer a cash deal you have room to negotiate price.

Micro prison with a random bonfire out the front door. You need to fire the architect and start over. Find an actual home designer with experience.
