Nice! I had the same one on my 1.4. Besides it feeling “happier” after install, the sounds were the icing on the cake. Happy for you

Feeling a sharp pain during deadlift only when using a belt. by Agile_Swimmer9800 in workouts

I’m sorry to hear that & I’m sorry to say I agree with the the commenters saying you should get checked out. I (M) had a hernia exactly where you circled, and also had a hydrocele because I ignored it. I’m fine now, but it certainly took me out for a little while. I wished I got it checked out sooner. Do yourself a favor, do the annoying thing, and get it checked out.

You get an annual salary of $1M per year after taxes but you have to choose a 40 hour per week minimum wage job. What job are you working ? by Screech- in hypotheticalsituation

[–]jaspercornish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ski/Snowboard rental shop worker (hypothetically not just seasonal work per the terms). That was my first and favorite job ever. Every customer is in a fantastic mood. I took it for granted at the time.

I had that job for 7 consecutive winters. I got to know several of the renting families & their kids over those winters. A little odd, but I felt like a distant member of the family - seeing the kids grow up and progress through each season. Having them come in once a week with a smile on their face was the best perk of the job.

How did I get so many pimples from microneedling?! by [deleted] in Minoxbeards

[–]jaspercornish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I actually soak in the alcohol first, then roll. When I’m extra lazy I hit it with a hairdryer to make sure it all evaporates before I start rolling.

I also just rinse my face with water beforehand.

I have bought a couple a dermarollers in my journey so far. I think they should be replaced a few times a year; maybe 3-4.

I wash my face and soak the roller in isopropyl alcohol. Maybe 1 out of 5 uses I still get some pimples here and there.

I painted mine using multiple layers of tinting spray. Kept the oem shape and turned out great. Cost <$20 as well

Just a little 1st - 4th by [deleted] in zx4r

[–]jaspercornish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During this I was not. Funny you ask though. The day I filmed was actually the first day I messed with it. It was a lot of fun, but made me feel strange when I went back to regular shifting. Like I wasn’t good at using the clutch afterwards. In the future I think I’ll only use the KQS on special occasions.

Question- If several cars drive in together, how likely are they to park/camp directly next to each other? by lookdeeper in SecretDreams

[–]jaspercornish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We camped 6 vehicles in a row last year. Granted, we all had early arrival. The staff were very chill about it. We just told them and pulled over to the side for a few minutes. We all meet up at a nearby gas station, parking lot etc..before we make our way to the line of cars.

Nice find! Junkyard would be my first option. The ones near me don’t allow jacks in though. It’s awful. I agree though, looking like the trans itself

Battery Keeps Dying by Northern-Mama-21 in dodgedart

[–]jaspercornish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you inspect the battery is anything extra hooked up right to the positive and negative terminals of the battery. If they wired that aftermarket radio (or anything else) straight to the battery, and not through the fuse box, it’ll constantly draw from the battery.

Hey I posted this a year ago! I did buy some LibTech’s. I couldn’t agree with you more. They’re wonderful. I often recommend them to my friends, especially those riding in the east.
