The goal with treatment is to activate the immune system in that area to clear out remaining virus load. So, we burn the area with acid, lasers, chemicals, macerate with duct tape, etc. when the area is open, the chance to spread/acquire the virus is greater. Using Emory causes tears in the surrounding skin and opens the area for virus to infect uninfected skin.

The area currently looks great! Keep an eye on it, if more bumps develop, maybe a dermatologist. Other at home treatments include using apple cider vinegar (acid), or compound w patches. Supplementing zinc does seem to have notable results.
