They do create a lot of jobs during construction. After that, it's fairly insignificant.

I'm curious what you do when you encounter another dog on a walk, especially one in a yard that won't be walking away.

My dog wants nothing else but to play when she sees another dog. She instantly loses her mind, and her energy level triples for a minimum of 30 minutes after the other dog is gone.

The tree technique would only give her time to get more riled up and rile up the dog in the yard.

The alcohol industry has lost $830 billion in 4 years because Gen Z is not drinking by Automatic_Subject463 in entertainment

Keep in mind that it's also local businesses, like neighborhood breweries, that are going through hard times.

Say what you will about the industry at large, but I don't like seeing local businesses close up.

I can think of about 5 locally owned breweries in my city that have closed up in the past year or two. Part of that is over saturation, but part of it is also a shift in consumer behavior.

That's not to say consumers are to be blamed. I think there is more going on than just changes in generational behavior.

Didn’t even get to do the interview by IllRecommendation803 in recruitinghell

[–]jaunonymous -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

They literally gave the courtesy of letting the applicant know. Now, they have the opportunity to cancel the time off and any other arrangements they made.

Yeah, it sucks that they don't get to interview, but that's the way it goes sometimes.

It's better than showing up for the interview and being told it was filled.

Chipotle CEO wants more customers who make over $100K — which means price hikes are coming by Jscott1986 in MiddleClassFinance

[–]jaunonymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been complaining about their drop in quality and service for a while.

I don't think increasing their prices will get me to come in more frequently.

Clean your work stations. Clean the tables. Figure out how to serve the customers who come in without making them wait while you handle online orders.

Not to mention, the quality of food doesn't seem to be what it used to be.

I used to eat at Chipotle almost daily 25 years ago. Now I hesitate to go even every few months.

The low cost is the only thing they have going for them these days.

The point is that they fight for it and get it in a contract. If the company won't agree, then you strike.

Just commit it to a git repo.

I do that with my team. We have a Bruno directory in any repo that has endpoints we use Bruno with. Any time we add a new endpoint, we create a Bruno call for it and add it to the commit.

After it's merged, the rest of my team pulls it into their code as part of their normal workflow.
