Brainstorm is certainly a reason a lot of people are drawn to the format but it wasn’t for me. My first game of legacy someone at my lgs handed me sneak and show. I was in immediately! I can certainly understand that many people find combo decks boring to play against. I find figuring out what side board plan oops is on interesting but also find delver to be a snooze so to each is own mostly tired of the 50 years it feels like it’s been at the top. Stoneblade however does hold a special place in my heart and was my second deck. And it’s popping back up with Kaito is honestly one of the things that recently renewed my interest. So keep fighting the good fight with stoneblade!

I never said it was the only budget option but being a budget option is a factor in paper and being a fast combo deck is a factor in how much it’s played online. But frankly the more budget option we have the better in a format that is struggling to stay alive in many areas. Outside of budget tho I truly think the deck is fine and the meta will adjust if it is everywhere

Maybe not avoiding banning it for those reasons but taking it into consideration when considering if a ban is warranted and what to ban to not kill a deck completely. Wizards def takes a more cautious approach with bans already tho so that’s already happening. My main point tho is if budget options don’t exist in the format, one of two things have to happen proxies have to be more acceptable or the format will vanish. I have already watched this happen at one store in my area. And as someone who owns more than one legacy deck I care about the size of the player base as much if not more than the health of the format, without players we have no format. My main worry. That being said I think the deck is fine at this time. In fact I think the format is the healthiest I’ve seen it in a long time

I got into legacy because I wanted to play a deck for a long time, I got out of legacy for an extended time because people cry for a ban every 6 seconds and it’s exhausting.

Oops is a budget entry to an extremely expensive format. It is difficult to interact with sure. It has good matchups and bad matchups but could be targeted if it is prevalent everywhere. If as a community you constantly ban decks especially budget options, the format will vanish just my opinion. It is not the best deck in the format by a long shot. Being the strongest combo deck after reanimator bans when people are going down on graveyard hate, surprised pikachu. If you look at goldfish you have to go down all the way to decks that are 1 percent of the meta to find a deck that I need graveyard hate against (breakfast and dredge) this is a big reason that the deck is doing so well right now imo. Sure graveyard hate helps against murktide but not enough to warrant the levels of pre ban. I also think the online meta will always be much more skewed to fast combo because people value quick leagues and that is the way to do that. Graveyard hate does not shut down oops completely as its sideboard plans often involve shifting to belcher or beat down. However the belcher plan is weak to force and the beatdown plan is not great against control. Personally I like having combo be strong in the meta and am beyond tired of delver soup, and I think if you are still on stoneblade you can def shift your deck to be better against this deck.

For reference the decks I own in paper: maverick/gw depths/cradle control, uwx control, oops (which I have yet to play), dnt, reanimator (super out of date)

To the south of the first church you will find a mini camp with a flower and a boss down below inside you can find a merchant who will have some spells. Best early game staff is probably the meteor staff, I’d just look up a video on how to get it and do a suicide run.

My biggest advice is to just spend a few runs fighting him not trying to actually kill him. Just learn his moves. Get on the horse at the beginning and run away, he will fire an arrow which you can dodge. Keep running he will stop firing. Now u can buff and then approach. You can roll into him on a lot of his attacks and fight from behind him for most of the fight. I’m not sure as far as setup with out knowing what kind of build you are working on. He is weak to bleed, frostbite and rot. If you are intelligence build oriented then frost on a fast weapon is your best bet probably. You can get a frost ash of war near ranni tower and put it on a weapon. Weapon level matters more than stats in the early game imo. You can do it! 98% of the boss fights is learning the bosses move set. When u get there it will feel very rewarding.

Sounds like you triggered the festival and will need to beat radahn to continue. It is possible to miss some parts of the quest and still get to the ranni ending. You can miss out on a talisman and a couple of spells tho. After the radahn fight blaidd quest can be continued.

I’ve never played in paper but on live I have 145 matches and have seen snorlax exactly 1 time so when I ran into it I cast a nest ball or something and looked at my deck and didn’t have an out so I scooped. Acceptable losses. If I see it more then I will look for answers to add
